Hey guys i just been quoted 150 usd a month to host a few s9.

That includes gurantee of 95% up time and minor maintenance.

Does it make any sense?
Did some researches but it seems you need to contact every companies to get a proper quote.

Thank you.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I think it seems high but if they provide decent support it should be ok.

The payment of the service depend also on the results, if your 150 produces more output then the price is just!if the result is equal to 150 but including maintenance then it's okay, but if the result is lower than expected then there is something wrong.

According to bitcoin mining calculator with S9 https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc you will get around $200 per month so it means you will still make $50 in profit but you will have a risk of losing your S9 as you have to trust third party with your hardware.

Write down the name of the hosting service you are talking about for us to review and give you suggestion.

We can offer you about the same rate but we include.
VPN, Insurance, Cooling, Basic Repairs, Support etc.
Our price is $600 a month for 5 kW. (For example 6 L3+ are 5 kW).
