You can run a different OS in a sandbox using Virtualbox. Windows 10 is free, as is Linux.

what is the estimated amount of zen needed for master nodes?

Earlier posts from the dev's suggest between 10 and 100 zen for a master node - and higher payments for SSL listed.
They also suggested that the actual figure will depend on the amount of nodes taken up (target of 1000).

Hi.

Is there any requirements to be qualified as a master node. I read that you can act with or without a certificate but Im wondering if you have some other requirements like DASH that you have to hold 1000 DASH?

what is the estimated amount of zen needed for master nodes?

For limited supply coins(21 million coins) usually it 1k coins, but i'm not sure how it will with ZEN.

can i convert from a Z address or a token that has been held by a Z address before, considering the true origin of the token has been lost? When will the conversion take place? On ZEN release date?

On the communication encryption are you considering sending files as well and if so are they stored on the blockchain, will there be a size limit?

Will the deamon be released in Linux only or are you also including windows and/or mac?

win 10 free link pls?

just download virtualbox from oracle that runs on any windows. Download ubuntu client and run it there. I have no problem in running the wallet on win7 and win10. You may have the wrong java jdk installed. This said maybe is time to write a native windows wallet that talk with the daemon instead of this one that runs the cli and captures its output

To the best of my knowledge it is postponed till the 23rd so you still have plenty of time.

Well thats where the confusion starts.
We could have :
- block 100,000 on april 29th when the entitlement for ZEN coins is defined (based on your ZCL balance held in wallet), then
- distribution of ZEN coins on May 23rd

That would be like a corporate action event (exdate and payment date at two different moments).
I believe many people are still not sure if they should hold ZCL in wallet on april 29th or may 23rd.
