I have installed Eleos Wallet.
For ZenCash do I set the wallet to ZCash or ZClassic?
I have generated a private wallet address, however, Suprnova gives me an error: Failed to update your account: Unable to connect to RPC server for coin address validation.
Wallet for zencash is not out yet . You need to wait until the blockchain is live to mine and create a zencash wallet. Anyway to mine on suprnova you don't need a zencash adress at the begining . But i guess your zclassic public adress should be a zencash adress if you create it before block 110 000 so you could use the same adress that you use to mine zclassic . If you create a zclassic or zcash adress now it won't work on suprnova zen pool |

Bittrex hasn't announced a time yet. They are waiting to make sure the launch goes smooth and the network is secure before they open for trading. May be up to a couple days after launch. |

Mining will begin at next block after the chain split. Chain split happened at block 110,000, first block mined after launch is 110,001. |

Noob question: how do I start an address in preparation for mining? I see that the client isn't yet available on zencash.io
Do I need to get zclassic wallet and then just copy the seed over or something?

I had planned on using Suprnova and just save the coins there till a wallet was released or Bittrex will allow deposits but looking at Elfpool you guys are going to be paying out in a couple of hours after launch? I've been told if you had a wallet like elios or zclassic or linux wallets those addresses from before block 110,000 should still be valid.
There is some confusion about Bittrex wallets.
If you setup your software to mine on my pool, yes, when I change over from testnet to mainnet the same ports will work. As long as you're using your wallet address from before the 110k split you should be ok. Unless you were mining to an exchange. Then you'll need to check with them to see if they're supporting those old wallet addresses.
Does that make sense? I'm literally talking to the devs trying to learn all this stuff too. So if you have questions shoot them over and I'll see if we can get answers.
Also, I've been told Elios wallet update should be coming. Hopefully before launch.
