Lol all you people are funny. Crying about free coins. This wasn't some ICO. Free coins from the fork but hey please dump your zen ASAP.  I'll have my cheap bids in.

Guys, sanity check please:
I mine in MineZ.zone.
When I try to lookup stats on my worker, I find a result only when looking in the ZCash and not ZenCash section.

I am using Claymore and connecting to stratum+tcp://ny1.minez.zone:3033.

Am I correct with my configuration?

Read the previous posts. The coin is broken at the moment. I wouldn't mine until the devs release an official post explaining what the heck is going on.

That's the correct URL... Can you give the miner address and I'll see what I can find

I don't think people are complaining about the free coins bud, more so the failure of a launch Zen is.

And I guess the fact they are chugging away wasting electricity mining empty dreams and aspirations with the coin being broken atm lol.

Actually even though I can't make a query for my address, I just saw it showing up at the bottom of the correct miners list /the ZenCash one/.
I can now navigate to it just fine via the link on the list, but if I try to query for it I get a page with the following error text:

Code:
Cannot GET /workers/workers/zne7inJi6NjceBcyusak5VDDwZLLViRkC86

Zen was far from free. It's priced into ZCL which is why the price got much lower after the fork. The difference between zcl pre dump, and zcl now is the price of zen, which is more than double the value of zcl now.

The situation is shitty. Blockchain forking is a tricky topic I stuck around mining some coins during forks before even including and algo switch once. I can't defend the wallet issue but one thing I can say is that right now the mining power is the lowest it ever will be and the block reward allocation for those of us mining right now is up and once the controversy settles and the coin is working with all new features nobody else has, many will be wishing they got some of this launch mining themselves

I'm not sure about Zen being double the price of ZCL .So far the 131 ZEN I have Estimated Value:  0.00000000 BTC on Bittrex and the 1200 ZCL I now have has an   Estimated Value of 2.04927597 BTC

Isn;t the diffuculty way high atm because mining continued from the previous coin?

It was the price we payed for zen. Had we sold zcl pre fork the difference would be more than double the btc it is now.

I tried running a node, but I don't seem to have a good connection. How long should I wait?

Current output:

Code:
          COMSEC STATUS | INACTIVE
      Encryption Cipher | Not Encrypted
        Routing Secrecy | CLEARNET
         Validate Peers | PUBLIC

           Block height | 0
            Connections | 0
  Network solution rate | 0 Sol/s

Since starting this node 3 minutes, 12 seconds ago:
- You have validated no transactions.

Off Zen topic a little .I have a new rig with 2 amd furys and was thinking of buying some new cards to fill the empty Pcie slots .And newegg  don't have much for amd cards so I was thinking of getting some 1080s or 1080ti's instead . Can you mixcards like that and run two different miners on one rig.
