The problem with suprnova is that they steal at ALL altcoins. It is not exclusive to Zen! They're having trouble with ZEC. Telegram groups just talk about it right now.

I wonder which groups that are, I'm actually in a lof of groups Smiley

You can check the stats, they're all public, I'm actually paying 7% more than calculated on ZEC : https://zec.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks and even on ZEN there's 6% more than calculated: https://zen.supr.nova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

If you're getting more somewhere else over 24h, send me the proof and I'll send you double the amount. Make sure you're using a PPLNS pool and you're not using Nicehash with the Pool-Hopper script some guys are using where you only hash the first 60% of the round Wink

You can also use:

https://zen.sup.rnova.cc

If you can't reach zen.suprnova.cc

This worked great for awhile.  Now getting 502 on the new domain through cloudflare.  Either something broke or they are hunting down your fixes to make ZEN fail Sad

EDIT:
Just got this too, maybe it will help diagnose:
Error 525 Ray ID: 36b83d6aaef339e2 • 2017-06-08 01:57:21 UTC

I think that we should all contact Ledger and ask for them to integrate Zen support into their wallets - I would think it would be easy to do as they already support Zcash and it would definitely increase the exposure and legitimacy of Zen!

Ledger support is on the roadmap. I talked with one of the Ledger owners at Consensus last month to get the conversation started. There is a process, and it costs money, which is fair.

Hardware wallet support is important, and it is on the roadmap.

Quite a few ZEN pools are down or really slow with timeouts, and others are too tiny/new to inspire much confidence:

miningspeed.com - down

minez.zone - down, their 55 ZEN gift doesn't really compensate if it goes down too often (ddos or not); not sure how effective their ddos countermeasures are, the last downtime was substantial (7+ hours judging from the reports here)

suprnova.cc - I had timeouts on it all day, my miners kept being disconnected for long periods, web interface utterly slow or timeouts

zencash.cloud -  up, but hardly anyone is on it ...

luckpool.org - up, but hashrate at only 57 kSol/s, 13 miners, and the top miner has 53 kSol/s, so if/when that one leaves ...

cryptobroker - up, hashrate at 300 kSol/s, but only 7 miners, and top miner has 290 kSol/s, so if/when that leaves ...

zenmine.pro - up, hashrate at 185 kSol/s, 130 miners ... the most "healthy" so far (also 0% fee)

miningpool.io - up, but hashrate at only 24 kSol/s, 13 miners ...

mixpools.org - no idea, haven't tried it, there are 0 miners on it ...

zenpool.eu - up, but only 1 miner with 280 Sol/s

NOTE ON SUPRNOVA: Last time I could access the Suprnova web interface, it was showing about 80% of the entire network hashrate ... that's not a healthy network. If any of the big miners are reading this, please consider at least spreading your hashrate to other pools! I totally understand that the alternatives haven't proven very reliable until now, but still ...

EDIT: using the alternative address sup.rnova.cc, it shows the hashrate is only about 1.1M out of 5.5M, so only 20% ... this is odd and doesn't quite add up. I've looked at most pools and the sum of all other pools is less than 1M, so either there are a shitload of solo miners out there, or suprnova is reporting wrong numbers

Hey, you missed my pool! There's actually a lot of small pools out there. But the network hash rate rose so fast many switched to other coins or joined larger pools. I'm aiming all the miners I have at my own pool and hope to find a few blocks per day. Maybe if other people join it will even the rate out.

Sorry if that question already came up but i haven't found it.
Is there any road map of major updates/releases?

There is a road map in the white paper. Right now we need to get the things going that we have been talking about as differentiators. With funding being generated for paying developers and doing other things, we'll be able to do it.

Big picture, the things we are looking at doing in the near term are:
Update Zen node software to work with SSL
Get the Eleos wallets reliable and useful on all platforms
Enable Secure node features in code, then start the tracking and payouts
Flesh out the governance model and work to get it going.
Get the additional infrastructure set up - block explorers, node tracking, more guides, improved website.
Continue work on internationalization of information.

FYI, I've been using the zenmine.pro pool all day. I am getting around a 300+ ms ping for shares which is a bit high, but other than that I've had no problems at all.

I just went through the known pools listed and tallied up the hash rates.  Why do these only add up to 21% of the network hash rate? Are there other hidden pools or solo mining making up the other 79%??  Or is there a problem with the stated network hash rate?

Total speculation(conspiracy theory): could the recent denial of service attacks be perpetrated by those mining the 79% as they try to grab as much ZEN as they can?

I also just watched the hash rate on suprnova rise 100k but the network rate did not change.

Code:
miningspeed.com unavailable

Part of the answer is that the last block (114451) took over an hour to solve.

I have been noticing that as soon as the difficulty gets around 145000 or higher it gets very difficult to solve a block and it seems out of proportion to what I would expect. It also takes long time for the difficulty to adjust down.  I assume because the time between blocks is too long.   No one is going to make any money if the coin can't be mined.

Can the devs investigate this?

EDIT: the net hash rate dropped to 5.88 once the block was found. So much for conspiracy theories....

Can't connect using SSL (port 3621) today. It worked fine until this morning.
Unsecured (port 3618) connection works ok.

There was already a good guide posted for building your own:

Do we have gui wallet which can be used securely , i do not like consol wallets..There is no point to keep my coins at Bittrex now when price is stabilized. Can we expect Jexx support in near future, i alredy use it for ZCL coins, and it is really nice and usable.

You already have a wallet GUI on ZEN, and that works very well. Wink

You can download it here: https://github.com/zencashio/eleos/releases

When I see that Zclassic and Zen have a wallet windows GUI, and that Zcash still does not have wallet windows GUI ....
