Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

SOLO MINING GUIDE:

CPU:
- Download wallet from the links in the op (after launch :-) )
- Create folder: %appdata/impact/
- Create impact.conf (check you have the right extension and not .txt -> go to folder options, show extensions)
- Paste this info in impact.conf:
Code:
rpcuser=rpc_user
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=22555
listen=1
server=1

- Save and run wallet. Wait a few seconds/minutes to let the wallet sync blockchain.

Type this command to start mining. In your wallet´s console.

setgenerate true -1

If you want to use a specific number of CPU cores, instead of -1, type the number of cores.

If you will follow all the steps. You are soloming with your cpu directly in your wallet.

GPU
:
- Download CUDA Miner - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0
- Create a impact.bat in you cuda folder with this info:
Code:
cudaminer.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:22555 -u rpc_user -p password
- Save and launch impact.bat, while wallet is running.
- Congratulations. You are mining with GPU directly to your wallet.

Launch in 15 minutes. One pool operator cantacted me. I hope he will run pool for IMX.

Are you really telling people to CPU (let alone GPU) mine an ASIC algo?

x11 asic can't mine without pool, they can't solo mine, [...]

Unless you have your own solo pool. Wink

I will never send private messages with payment requests for my auctions. I only communicate transparently via the forum (not Telegram, Discord, Skype & others). Please be wary of scammers.

i guess a stratum proxy between your miner and the client should work

Most often with coins like this I see exchange listings come in the form of a voting system. Unfortunately, that means using a shady exchange usually. I've had success with NovaExchange in the past, that may be an option for us to vote to have it listed for free.

Edit: I was informed that there is actually a .04btc listing fee even for voting on NovaExchange.

I like novaexchange is a good one, but they want money they are all the same, we must vote and get free listing instead

Nova is 0.04 BTC to even get on voting. 0.1 will get you Yolobit which will increase price and volume many times over Nova (which is small exchange.)

There's still the matter of actually funding that listing fee. Which is a more achievable goal? .04btc and vote to get it listed or .1btc for an instant listing on an exchange?

I will contact few small exchanges tomorow. (Novaechange sounds good for start)

IMX blockchain is on block 1373. Only 727 blocks to reach start of POS.
Let me know guys if you will hit some POS blocks. This is my first coin. I would like to focus on smooth procces.

Good start, "small exchanges."

You can buy your way onto Yobit for 0.10 or Cryptopia for about 0.15 (I think).

You pay, you get listed.

You are off to a bad start. You were adding pools that  were giving ridiculous mining difficulties. You are X11, not scrypt or sha256. Hence orphans galore.

Go for either Yobit or Cryptopia, and pay the fee. That is your realistic choice.

*Edit .. but I am sensing possible double-bluff. Pretend to be clueless, but just another factory trick.

Apologies if I am wrong. Sincerely.

I would be down for an OTC trade if anyone is interested. I'll do it in small(ish) amounts so there's little risk to either party. I've got 900k I would be willing to let go of, just PM me if you want to see about an exchange. I'm willing to use an escrow too, provided someone can find a trustworthy party.

not if you mine with the cheap Baikal miner that consumes less power than a standard PC, but has the power of 20 GPU's.
One gpu I mined 100k IMX in 6 hours.
