I'm a newbie to bitcoins i've no idea how to get some coins.
I noticed the wallet address may change, is the old addresses obsoleted? if someone put bitcoins into my old address, will i get it?

Yes, all your addresses in your wallet are active.

Try either MtGox or Tradehill.

There is a new website, which has just come out: btceverywhere.com, where you can buy BTC using traditional online payment methods like paypal and/or credit cards. The transactions are very fast and safe, I used it myself, even if the exchange rate is a bit high.. They also have a session where you can buy, using bitcoins, precious metals like gold/platinum bullions and coins..
