Campaign Manager cannot be an easy job considering the time to filter all posts and ensuring prompt paying to beneficiaries I think it's going to consume a lot of time .

I think this is simple to be campagin manager if i happend with campagin manager weekly i will check how many post each person doing.
Bullshit. It is simple to become "a shitty campaign manager" is what you meant to say. A lot of services tend to be cheap, therefore they hire any random asking for peanuts as payment. No wonder some of these campaigns are riddle with utter shitposters.

@OP: Considering your history here and post quality, you shouldn't become a campaign manager. You need to work on yourself, not others.

Don't make me laugh man, being a signature campaign isn't just all about post counting. If you think that it is very simple then you should be hired by many companies and run out their campaigns. You should consider that the real deal is to monitor, update, create report for the owner and post counting is just on the last line.

I do really laugh on his statement regarding on its so easy to become a campaign manager, its easy as it sounds since you do really need to count the post but even that alone wont be simple you would really be good at excel skills and not only that you should really know the standard procedures on running up a campaign, there are lots of guidelines on becoming a good manager and you cant get or obtain it on a short period of time.Trust will be hardly build and no one would really select you if you are not reputable enough.

Those are the characteristic of a shitty campaign mangers. Usually if they are doing these kind of things while running a campaign, they will evwntually be busted and never be given a chance to run another campaign. Personally I haven't encountered any campaign manager that does this in campaigns that are paying in bitcoin tho I don't know if I can say the same for campaign managers in the altcoin marketplace.

Managing campaign is really is the toughest job because they need to care of applicants and as well as payments. Because those who participated in the campaign didn't get payments on time means it will be a lot of headache to the manager. The manager should secure funding before starting the campaign otherwise, no one will believe them.

The manager should keep on updating to participants and as well as to the owner of the campaign who wants to run a signature campaign, manager task is a completely tough job, for that they will get paid but the manager should control all things.

The toughest job compared to what? A PR specialist also has to take care of applicants and usually has to do it not only by a forum but also e-mail and phone.
I assume those of you who say managing a campaign is a difficult and demanding job never worked as a manager in a real company. I'm aware campaign payments are much smaller, but you also aren't spending 8-10 hours a day at work, like real managers.

Someone's salty that they weren't accepted to a signature campaign managed by a good manager  Grin

There's plenty of campaigns that don't use an escrow, like the BitSler one I'm in right now. Payments aren't that hard, it's the post counting, deciding whether the post is constructive, accepting people, and dealing with complaints/disagreements is probably the hardest part.

Most altcoin campaigns accept everyone anyway, so it's not a huge deal.

First, I did not know where else to put this thread so I hope this is the right section as this is about bitcointalk afterall.

So how does one become a campaign manager? And importantly, how does one runs a signature campaign?
Please if any campaign managers could answer, that would be great.
Thank you

Experience and trust

Experience is essential things since you need to be selective and able to handle spammer
Being campaign manager doesn't looks easy as it seen because you need spare time between forum and real life

Trust is build from zero and need process since company start looking on trust before try to hire campaign manager ( this part is hardest, IMO )
Got it Sir, and thank you everyone else for their input.
I can understand its a tough work as you have to keep an eye on lots of stuff whether its your participants or your investors. So having a lot of time at hand is a must after you have enough experience and when you are trusted enough to get the job.
It was a good learning. Thanks again everyone.

Reputation is a big + and if you don't have enough trust upon dealing here i think you will get a hard time to convince some site to handle their campaigns, But believe me hardworks and guts is one of the key to became a manager but in the essence that you doesn't have a trust you can still hold a campaign but you will be under by an escrow's presence.

Everyone started with no trust at all and reputation at all. Even yahoo back then weren't trusted at all when he was just starting out. The only way for you to be trusted is to prove that you're trustworthy and don't even expect any positive trust from people that you transacted with. Just continue what you're doing despite the trust rating.

Most people that are just starting out in the service that they are offering offer promos or free trial. This will attract customers and at the same time it will save the customers some money. You shouldn't hold any money at first, though, because it will raise suspicion to most people.
