Had signed up a couple of days back; now when I log in it says 'offline'.

My balance is 0; do I need any balance to start using it?

EDIT: Ok, it seems it comes back online using the PC from where I signed up. Can somebody please send me a couple of ripples so that I can 'trust' others?

Can I ask, how did you set the TransferRate on your ripple account to charge 0.19% on transfers?

Because the web client cant do it, and there is no easy way to do local transaction signing without the rippled software.

Would this then allow a trading market to exist between BTC/LTC/TRC?

The 'offline' is hit and miss for me. You'll need to be able to trust DividendRippler for the 3 chains, plus 1 XRP for signing up. But this giveaway is to increase your balance above zero.

I really have no idea if I did this correctly at all.

rHD5FjZirDpnFQjWcBkryuwjkwDy7DLQr6

Edit to add: I don't have LTC or TRC receiving addresses set up. Is that a problem, or only if I try to redeem the IOU?

I also have to say that I think it's hilarious the ripple folks tout their system as "simpler than BTC".

If you have issue addresses, the setup was correct. Looks good from here.

BTC: 0.02 (4ab8e7e295) LTC: 0.794 (af9a1ade40 ) TRC: 1.571 (d8618fd245)

Also: You can check the status and history of all payments by looking at your ripple address: https://dividendrippler.com/account?_=rHD5FjZirDpnFQjWcBkryuwjkwDy7DLQr6

Yes, I can see them on the DR site. Now to figure out next steps. Thanks. Been meaning to figure out how Ripple works, and this gives me some incentive.

no idea how to redeem them, DR site says, Failed Payments for LTC, TRC because of insufficient trust line. Of course, I gave 0.01BTC trust line since there is no LTC, or TRC currency in the trust line dropdown of my wallet .

You will have to type in LTC and TRC for trust lines. Once you have trustlines set up it should go through.

edit: You may need to flag the server by sending 1 XRP to rfYv1TXnwgDDK4WQNbFALykYuEBnrR4pDX?dt=1 I can't remember if this switch is on or off though at the moment.
