Everyone who wants to buy more ripples, inside the ripple wallet go to Advance -  trust lines -add new trust line - and you add this one from dividend rippler rfYv1TXnwgDDK4WQNbFALykYuEBnrR4pDX, then go to Trade - select BTC/XRP - change issuer - and put the dividend rippler addres you just added.

and now you can make bids and aks

of course you need to have bitcoins in your ripple wallet, go to bitstamp  - withdrawal  and select ripple.

I'm playing with this thing and set aside a small amount of balance that could be lost in order to establish trustlines. I used previous issued amounts to gauge how much trust to set.

r82ovvXckDPTbJ7adQxqQ38dQ7MWXXW3F

Will be interesting to see assets exchange through the system. Still would prefer Ripple to be open with fair XRP distribution but hey here's to hoping.

edit: Does 'church' mean bent over the alter with Mr Whippy?

Sent! Church = 32oz beer and movie. Couldn't get out of. Would rather play ripple.

BTC: 0.013 (ed6e468e16) LTC: 1.057 (c1c74b4566 ) TRC: 1.898 (54cfc87843)

Thanks!  32oz? Good grief I wondered why it was written in apostrophes

Can't see any TRC in my wallet (which would be a new IOU for me) - do I need to do anything more? I guess this is why we test. I can see a pathway for LTC, USD & XRP but nothing else. I have the trust levels set less than 1USD equivalent on each but I thought that should be enough.

LTC: You got an error, meaning you probably didn't trust DividendRippler for any LTC. You have to type it in.
TRC: I sent TRC from my client to your dividendrippler assigned address, 1LExEmTdz7AbiQaZ698WraASNwabYPFym8. Once it has 6 confirms, the IOU will be issued (currently 3)

Ah thanks I getcha. Increased the LTC trust too.

edit: In the name I get the impression your ultimate goal could be stocks /shares/assets. Any time frame on that? I guess we need to get trustlines established first? Thoughts?

It will stay in error until retried from the server. You can manually flag the server to issue you LTC by sending 1 xrp to rfYv1TXnwgDDK4WQNbFALykYuEBnrR4pDX?dt=1 from your ripple account. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for a global retry, about 1 per day at this time.

Do you have 1 XRP left over? Send it to rfYv1TXnwgDDK4WQNbFALykYuEBnrR4pDX?dt=1 to flag the server to retry the IOUs. Should be good to go

Just manually enter 'LTC' for Litecoin, and 'TRC' for Terracoin.

TTBit, am I right to assume that if I want to add more LTC/BTC/TRC to my ripple account, I would send those coins to the LTC/BTC/TRC Issue Addresses listed on my DR ripple account?

And if I want to move LTC/BTC/TRC out of my ripple account, I would goto my Ripple client, click 'Send', Recipient will be rfYv1TXnwgDDK4WQNbFALykYuEBnrR4pDX?dt=<My DR Account #> and select either LTC/BTC/TRC and the DR gateway will in turn forward the coin to my wallet, based on my programmed LTC/BTC/TRC addresses?

Sent a nice combo, expect to see the IOUs after 6 confirms in each chain:

BTC: 0.007 (ef4c595814) LTC: 0.411 (db368111a3 ) TRC: 7.645 (e06d65ddbc)

Exactly!

To issue ious in a specific ripple address, you send the actual coins (I say 'specie') to the addresses generated by DR.

The redemption addresses are user created, and will destroy the IOU and send back the specie to user's client.

Cool. One more thing. Can I use IOUs created by DR and trade it somewhere else? e.g. I send 1 BTC to my ripple account via DR. Then I want to create a trade at bitstamp to sell the 1 BTC for XXXX XRP? My guess is not possible, unless bitstamp is willing to accept DR IOUs. Correct?

Why don't you try it Smiley

Yes, it is possible! That is the whole point of ripple. But no, bitstamp does not accept DR ious. What happens is ripple will find someone who has BTC.Bitstamp and BTC.DR and make that account a middleman. It will debit your BTC.DR account and credit the middleman BTC.DR, and it will debit the middleman BTC.Bitstamp and credit yours. Now you have enough BTC.Bitstamp to send to them.

You can do that, but the sender is forced to pay all fees. That means you pay the 0.20% to bitstamp and 0.15% to DR.
