Hello bitcoin.org,

I recently found the bitcoin php class from Mike Gogulski and I got some general questions about it and the bitcoin daemon.

Is it possible to manage several wallets with one daemon (to send bitcoins to other clients)?

Lets say, I have three wallets, every wallet belonging to another website / service and I want to handle all payout requests from one server.

For example:

The server will get a payout request from website 1 -> select wallet 1 and send bitcoins to a given address.
Immediately after that one there will be another payout request from website 3 -> switch to wallet 3 and send also some bitcoins to a given address.
And so on and so forth...

Can I easily switch between these different wallets or will this cause some problems?
Or is it even impossible to do something like that?

Sincerely, Cosmo3k

You can create for each transaction a new bitcoin address.

Why do you need different wallets?

Of course you can start 3 daemons with different Ports.

check out the bitcoin.conf file.

How to access ALL file hoster with just one account? With the file hoster proxy leech.io! (http://www.leech.io/) -- Accepting bitcoins!

Sure, I know that I can create new addresses. But, as I said, I'm not talking about receiving money.

Why do you need different wallets? -> In the fist case I just want to know if it is possible or not.
Second case is tidiness. Sorry but my English isn't good enough so I can't explain it in detail.

Thanks for your suggestion, I haven't thought about that yet. I will give it a try.
