Looking to buy 10,000 mature BTE. Have neither the expertise or inclination for mining. Just a simple swap based on mutual trust, no bids on Google spreadsheets, etc. If requested, I will post a paper wallet address here with 1 BTC so all can see when the wallet is imported on swap completion. No flames, please; I just want to buy BTE.  PM or respond here. Thanks for listening.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Well it reminds me of like an old Gyro Gearloose story from a 50's Walt Disney Comics and Stories issue. Gyro had a hen who insisted in sitting on a doorknob. Deciding this might provide an opportunity for experimentation, he whipped up a weird concochtion and poured it into an egg shell, giving the egg to the hen to sit on. While waiting he fantisized about what kind of strange thing might come out of the egg. Know what came out of the egg when it hatched? A doorknob.

I plan on sitting on that 10k of BTE and see what happens. Perhaps I'll just end up with what I started with; 10k of worthless BTE, but you never know.

I BTC for 10,000 BTE. I'd like to do it in one fell swoop, not piecemeal. Counter offer?

Not a realistic price. I'll sell 1000 BTE for 0.6 BTC. It's slightly cheaper than on Bytecoinexchange.

No thank you. Not a realistic offer. I'll go 1.1 BTC for 10,000 BTE. Any takers?

Above offer still stands. How much BTE do you have to sell?  PM if you prefer,
