Assuming we are done, that wasn't much of a sell-off.  Bids kept pooring in to offset the sells.

This might be the signal the sideline bulls need to drive us back up to high 100's next week.

Interesting.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Before the DDoS, there was resistance at 128. I expect it to still be there.

Good luck to MtGox in their planned DDoS-handling upgrade.

i hate to say it, but i think you could be correct.  If I had sold something for bitcoins 20 minutes ago, i might actually make a profit if i decided to convert back into fiat now  =)  that means , at least for now, I' ignoring all the drama about vendor/merchant confidence problems!!!  wooot!

$100 seems to be a strong wall now. I think that means that it will go up, because $100 is the new bottom.

There has been strong resistance at 128 and 135 before, which I would bet holds again.  When do you think 135 will be surpassed? Monday?

The next crisis or big announcement will send it up. More importantly, the fact that it is more resistant to flashcrash will increase confidence in the decentralization of money.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Now that everyone knows about it it won't be as effective.
(Though thanks for letting us know in advance, I'll go place some buy orders at $35 just in case !)
