They are talking about two different things, bitcoin.com is a news site, with a forum, which is where philopolymath posted a comment about btc.com

Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::

Has anyone else had BTC pool claim they've made a payment to you, but just not?  My earning dashboard is claiming about 0.001 BTC was paid to 17KJisKa8xsK5cTbYP99K6oLr87nkWvHbw in transaction 4115ebea8f56049af468543716d8d0f218b6a3181442591460e5a31b2fbfcd21, but there is zero sign of that actually being included in that transaction.  Been mining there for about a year and this is the first time anything like that has happened.

no, for me it's ok. Payout to an exchange so it takes few more hours to appear but no problem for now.

Yeah, I have it payout to an exchange as well.  It's not that it's delayed.  It's that it's flat out not in the transaction they say it is.  Look for that address in that transaction, it's just not there!

I tried emailing support@btc.com, and all I got back is to check with my wallet provider.  I tried clearly explaining the issue again, and so far nothing.  Pretty sure I'm just shit out of luck.  Time to switch pools.

Well, a week later, and my efforts to engage with BTC support staff have gone from fruitless to infuriating.  They just keep telling me that my current BTC balance isn't enough to be paid out.  I keep saying I know that, it's the previous balance which claims it was already paid out to a specific address at a specific time, and wasn't, that I'm emailing about.  They just go back to my current balance not being enough.

If anyone needs a reason to stay away, there you go.

Dear miners!

BTC.com has accomplished the One-button Switch function on US server (only US sub-account is available for this new function ). Miners can switch Bitcoin(BTC) or Bitcoin Cash(BCC) mining easily via it, just following these steps:

1. Login to BTC.com Pool and click the ‘Sub-account Manage’:

2. Choose the sub-account you want to switch, click ‘Settings’, get the ‘One-button Switch’ at the end of the list:

if you just switch the current sub-account, click 'Settings' on top right, find the 'One-button Switch' option:

3. Choose the coin you want to mine, fill in the wallet address if its your first time to mine this coin:

4. Click ‘Enter’:

The BCC calculator is also available now https://btc.com/tools/mini-mining-calculator, miners can use this tool to estimate which coin mining is more beneficial.

If you have any problems, please contact our costumer service.
Thank you for supporting BTC.com.
Best wishes!

Hi, could you please clarify what is the current mining fee on btc.com?
I need that to convince my clients to start working with btc com.

I asked the same to BTC.com Support a few weeks ago. Here's their response:

Quote
The miner fee in our pool is 4%
The Full Pay-per-Share FPPS approach, created by BTC.com team, aims to benefit miners from the high transaction fee.
It will calculate a standard transaction fee within a certain period, add it into the block rewards (12.5 BTC every block for now) and then distribute the whole to miners according to PPS mode.
This method keeps advantages of PPS and pay more to miners by sharing the transaction fee. It will increase the miners' earnings by 10%-20%.

The catch with that is that the 10%-20% is a lie.

For more than a month the tx fees have been less than 2%

Tx fees have been below 10% since January.

Anybody else having the same issue? I have a similar setup, and mine on btc.com US pool both from US and Europe. My S9 rigs based in the US are doing fine, but rigs based in EU have exactly the same issue, and always during night in Europe.

BTC.com Pool miners can now merge mine RootStock (RSK)
We are happy to announce that BTC.com Pool miners can now merge mine RootStock (RSK) next to Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Merged mining allows different crypto currencies with the same algorithm, such as SHA 256, to be mined together. This allows crypto currencies with lower hash rate to gain additional hashing power by bootstrapping on a crypto currency with higher hash rate.

For cryptocurrencies with Proof-of-Work (POW) consensus algorithm, it is crucial to have substantial hashing power in order to secure the network against attacks. BTC.com, the world’s largest bitcoin mining pool, is happy to offer its miners better profitability while offering massive hashing power to validate and secure RSK sidechain transactions.

RSK offers a smart contract protocol that runs on top of the Bitcoin infrastructure. BTC.com added RSK merge-mining on the MainNet after an intense test period:

“We are very happy to add value to our miners who are using our infrastructure. We wish RSK to bring unlimited potential to the Bitcoin community. This integration will allow our miners to increase their profits by receiving fees from all smart contracts running on RSK.” — Zhong Zhuang, Project Director
The integration allows miners to earn more with the same hardware and energy consumption. The BTC.com Pool already has experience with merged mining, as it also offers NameCoin (NMC).

BTC.com’s mission is to secure the Bitcoin network, and we are happy to support innovation, such as smart contracts on Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.

Learn more about the BTC.com Pool at pool.btc.com!

Is the pool running fine for you?

I got an alert email that all miners are inactive
My pool page either gives 502 Bad Gateway nginx error or when load it shows 0 active miners.

Edit:
Looks like its a web page problem, miners running fine, real time hashrate is ok and today estimate is raising.
