Hey I am new to electrum but have used bitcoin in the past. I recently sent some bitcoin from a coinbase wallet to my electrum wallet and have been waiting for a long time and nothing. Coinbase says it is pending and that there are 0 confirmations but in my electrum wallet there isn't anything in history or saying that it's pending. I am positive I entered the receiving address correctly. And I have dynamic fees on to avoid a low fee. Can someone please help as I am worried and want to be able to use my bitcoin. All help is greatly appreciated!!

coinbase probably hasn't sent the bitcoins yet which is why they say it is pending.

bitcoin transactions are slow so if you are getting  a heart attack over something minor like this then you are not going to enjoy your bitcoin experience at all. try to calm down.

oh and you don't have to keep electrum or your computer running just to receive bitcoin. you can shut it down and come back later and the coins will be there (assuming coinbase has sent them by then).

Yeah, it sounds like CoinBase hasn't sent the coins yet. If they have, they should be able to provide a transaction ID which you could use to verify that the funds have been transferred.

Try selecting tools in the menu bar, then clicking network. When the network settings windows opens uncheck "select server automatically" and keep trying different servers in the list. Sometimes a particular server is out of sync with the blockchain, and switching to another fixes that.

Also your firewall might be blocking electrum from accessing the internet.

Search for your address in this website to find out if its already been sent coins. If that site shows your address was sent the coins then there's some sort of problem with your electrum wallet.

Coinbase is slow to process your transactions and send your withdrawal to your provided address. It is the third party service. Even you paid high fees, they hasn't send btc yet, high fees mean nothing.
