As this is a coin, which had its launch back in January 2014, there is also an older thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404364.0 with 683 pages. There you can see the development of the coin with an initial hype due to the ASIS resistency. The mining algorithms were changed several time to stick to this promise.

Can I get some help with the mining? It's not working for me. I'm using the 1 click mining. I downloaded the core Windows wallet, it's fully synched. The core wallet address is the same one I'm using in the mining software. I'm running the miner software and it has been showing a hash rate of 155.46 kh/s for at least 24 hours. But when I go in my wallet to check my Vertcoin balance, it says 0. Am I missing something? Where do we check how many coins we've actually mined? The wallet has been fully synched and I've been checking several times in the past 24 hours and it always shows a balance of 0. I've double checked the mining address with the wallet address and they're the same.

Are you using a p2pool ? It can take more than 24 hours to receive your first payment lately.

if you are sure the wallet address on OCM is yours (and a valid one) then I would give another 12 hours before giving up.

What is your rejected hashrate % ? If its higher than 3% , then you should find another p2pool or even better, run your own.

You might also try the VTC Discord channel, you will find plenty of people willing to help 24/24.

I believe I'm using a P2P pool. I clicked on the "find P2P nodes" button and I selected the one with the lowest latency.  Where do we find the rejected hashrate%?
