my coins were in electrum, i opened that wallet and set it up with Ledger nano s, but now i show 0 btc. and i cant find any electrum support anywhere. WHAT DO I DO IM FREAKING OUT?  ? |

Your wallet should be set up with the Ledger now, so it will be displaying whatever the balance of your Ledger is. Electrum supports multiple wallets, but does not show multiple wallets in the same window. If you go to New > Open, you should be able to open your previous normal Electrum wallet.

after i set up account i sent over my bitcoins from coinbase. and they arrived normally. but now my phone app shows 0 coins, and my desktop app hasnt updated in 6 days since I cannot connect with it for some reason, it keeps saying...Could not connect to your Ledger. Verify the cable is connected and that no other application is using it.
Try to connect again?
i tried deleting the app on my phone and reinstalling it but it wants a seed obviously but i set it up with nano s so they dont know my seed right?
Please Help! thx

When using the LedgerApp you HAVE TO BE INSIDE THE BTC WALLET on your ledger device ( after inserting 4 dig pin, enter the BTC wallet and THEN run the APP) |

i did that. i had my ledger properly set up as u suggested, code entered, bitcoin entered etc. still showed 0 bitcoin. since then i have deleted the app and downloaded it again. it wants me to set up a new wallet, i figured it would say...restore previous wallet, but no, so should i set up a completely new wallet? and write down the seed? even though this is not what i did in the first place cuz have ledger nano s.
another weird thing, happend twice, i write down the seed words, begin entering them, and one of the seed words is wrong, i have it written down wright, the word is aweful, but it wants me to put in awesome, which sketches me out. wtf is that about? so i stopped there.

Aweful isn't a word. You have spelled it incorrectly, it's awful (no e's in the word) |

The phone app won't have access to your ledger so I'd imagine you'll need to use the desktop app with the ledger connected.
You should be able to go to New/Restore and setup a new electrum wallet and select use hardware device when it gets to that point. I believe this will then set up the wallet to properly use your ledger and show the balance of your ledger device.

I'm not correcting your grammer. If you actually started entering "aweful" into the seed recovery, it will not recognize that word and correct you to the only word in the wordlist that begins with "awe", which is "awesome". "Awful" is a word in the wordlist, so it should recognize that you are entering "awful" if you spell it correctly. |

achow, shortly after i said that, i understood exactly what u meant, however, i didnt end up going back to that scenario, entering seed words, what is fucking weird is even though , shit, im afraid to say because it is a major security problem. ya , i cant say, comfortably, how i figured out i still had my coins. srry, but all is well, i have my shit, and im elated!!! now i just gotta do something, not sure what exactly but something. but wooo fucking whooo!!!! i did not lose $7,000!!!
