Do the Butterfly Lab's order numbers correspond to the number of orders? If that's true, as of 4/16, when I placed my order, there have been >42,000 orders. Thus, assuming BFL takes orders at a constant rate since they became popular a few years ago, >~15,000 orders have been placed that haven't been delivered yet. This is tens of millions of USDs!
On 4/19 they charged my card. Usually businesses charge when they ship. They can't possibly be shipping mine already, can they?
Another strange thing about BFL is that their
https://products.butterflylabs.com/customer/account/ page doesn't use an HTTPS certificate that verifies their identity or supplies ownership information, thus people can eavesdrop on your orders and information.
