Hi guys!

I currently have a gtx970 on my desktop rig and I'm mining only ETH. I want to buy another GPU and I wanted to ask whether another GTX 970 in SLI would be beneficial for me or should I opt for an RX 480? Would an AMD and NVidia card get along in the same rig, mining ETH? I'm waiting for other GPU suggestions if you have any.

Thanks in advance,
Andrei

If you want to mine ETH, it is better to  buy RX 480 or 470.

I bought an  MSI rx480 cause I've heard it's a lot cooler. Does any of you know or can link me to a tutorial that shows how to mine in the same time on a NVIDIA card and an AMd one (what miners to use?)

You just need to run two miners and point each to one GPU!

I recommend RX 480 Nitro. Samsung Chip works well with low power bios mod + downvolt.

here is a low cost  rx 480 8gb card

http://www.diamondmultimediastore.com/radeon-rx400-series

the reason I say it is good is the price.

this card is better quality

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GAMING-RX-480-8G/dp/B01K1JTT8S/ref=sr_1_1?

but it is 245  vs 200  if current  coin prices hold and you have  free power

100 days to pay off the diamond
122 days to pay off the  msi

I live in Europe I'm afraid, but thanks for the links!

I found some warehouse deals for the MSI and Sapphire rx 480 8GB almost same price around 250$. Which one would you choose between them 2? OC wise and bios modding wise?

Stick with AMD Rx 480 as they are the best. RX 470 is good too. But I would love to mine with Rx480. Try to go with only RX480 in one rig. I feel that it would be much better than getting AMDs and NVIDIA running together on a single rig. Happy Mining Mate!

Already bought an msi rx 480 Cheesy Getting 27MH with no bios flash, just afterburner OC. Thinking of buying 2 more then get a custom mining rig frame and other components.

Please tell us with which values you have OC this GPU. Screenshots would be fine. Thanks  Smiley
