Out of interest I'd like to do an informal poll to see how much of people's wealth they are willing to put into Cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin... percentage-wise of total investments/networth

After looking through what people have said it seems everyone have agreed in one direction not to put all funds into bitcoin and its simply because its risky for me, I would say 10% of my savings is in bitcoin and if I happen to lose some of that due to volatilty of bitcoin, then I am still standing strong without any backlash of inability to meet my needs...

I have 60 percent of my savings in the currency. I call it investment. I believe in bitcoin and therefore my investment strategy is correct

Less than 1%. Most of my bitcoins are just gifts or the few bits I've earned before. It's a nice way of getting some extra bucks. I just left it in my wallet and it just grow there and I can take some out. I'm yet to get to the point where I'd buy bitcoin using fiat though. I'd be more open using the existing coins I have for things that would allow the amount to increase. I guess this is how most people started out with bitcoin. Despite hanging around here for around 2 months, I'm still not confident enough handing in a lot of my fiat savings for this.

Unfortunately, very little.  I don't have the kind of disposable income to put into savings for Bitcoin to be honest.  I'm still fairly new to this so I need to get into it and think about it before I put in too much of my money, which is why I'm trying to start making smaller amounts of money without investing with any fiat.

I'm really starting to develop an enthusiasm for this though so we'll see where I go.

After looking at growth and development in bitcoin I decided to invest my 10% of total wealth in bitcoins which is also divided in some good altcoins and I know its a big risk to put that amount of money in bitcoins as there is a big question mark on the future of bitcoins and if anything goes wrong then it will bring huge loss for me but even if I loose 10% of my wealth in bitcoins I have option to recover my loss from the other investments I have made.

Right now i'm about completely broke in crypto/bitcoins, only a few dollars are left in my wallet.
But in a few months I'll build up my wallet again to a few hundred dollars.

More than 50% but the situation is only theoretical since I don't intend to sell any bitcoins.

I didn't buy any bitcoins so I don't really care what happens to the price.

Combined wealth is 50% for cryptocurrency including Bitcoin and alternate crypotocurrency.  I have half of it to fiat currency since I still need them for daily needs.  The 50% is divided into 25% for trading and another 25% of keeping.  This way I still have my cryptocurrency safe in my wallet while I have half of it to bring me extra profit.

I do not have any percentage of my wealth in cryptcurrency since I am not that rich and still trying to grasp about cryptocurrency.  If ever I have the grasp of it and find it beneficial to me, I will have 70% of my earnings to cryptocurrency and just 30% as money for spending.

Great to see that after you broke in btc you are ready to start again to collect and invest. Great to see people who truely believe in bitcoin. We should continue to support btc so the value of it will not crashed down.

Even price goes down it has ability to bounce back and right now price is going down so its better not to panic and hold bitcoins and as a user of bitcoins we should always have faith in its potential and it will give us profits in long term.

How much money did you spend mining your bitcoins? Or how much time did you spend earning your bitcoin? If you didn't mine them or earn them, did you inherit them? I suppose the last option is "stumbling" upon a wallet that was owned by someone else.

The "zero cost basis" folks are a rare breed...everyone has a cost.

I have 1% of my wealth in bitcoins as investing higher amount will bring higher risk as I am not sure what will happen to bitcoin in future so its good to keep that amount which I can afford to loose and also its good to diversify your investments.

At the moment I have a very small amount of my funds in bitcoins. Not because I wouldn't want to have more but at the moment my only source of bitcoins is signature campaign and I don't buy coins because the price is high. I would like to change that in the future and have at least 20% of funds in bitcoins.
