The switch-over happened about an hour ago, and we lost about 10% of our hash rate, for the time being. In the future, the P2Pool software will display a large warning when another change like this is going to happen in the future. In addition, if you don't know about it, there's this mailing list that I post important announcements to: http://groups.google.com/group/p2pool-notificationsYay, now we have P2SH! Is there any interest in P2Pool allowing P2SH payouts? Forgive my n00b-ness in my lurking, but; what is P2SH? |

Hello all. I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but there are two threads with too many pages each >.< I am running two nodes of P2Pool version 0.10.3 (both Windows version) and everything is running smoothly. What I would like to do (if can be done), is having pool B connecting to pool A and reporting all work done in pool B. The reason for this, is for me to monitor the graphs of both pools in pool A. Configuration: Pool B has 4 connected miners to it and I can see the graphs for each one. Pool A has 1 connected miner to it and I can see its graph. What I would like to see when checking graphs of pool A, is two graphs; one for the miner connected to it and one for (all the miners connected to) Pool B combined results. Or if this can not be done, then having a graph in Pool A for every single miner (those mining in Pool B plus the one mining in Pool A) The reasons for wanting such a thing in stead of having all miners mine to one pool are: - Pool A and B are in different physical locations
- the computer running Pool B has access to the Internet but the miners don't, so they can not mine directly in Pool A
Although I tried to make every single detail clear, I might have missed something, so please do ask for more info if needed. Thank you in advance for your answers  |

This can be done if you set a different username for each miner. It sounds to me like your best bet is to leave pool B running and connect everything to that instead (each with a separate username). There's no way to connect them directly as far as I know. |

managed to get it installed and setup now just waiting on two ZTEX boards to get here tomorrow to add ~400mh to the pool
wish the bitforce singles that are on order are compatible.. hopefully in the future with a firmware update

It sounds to me like your best bet is to leave pool B running and connect everything to that instead. True, but the Internet connection in location B is sloppy... Soz, forgot to mention it. |

Maybe setup a VPN then? Or you could just leave both running and have them both payout to the same address. That way you could track your payout on pool A. |

(from quotes above) You can setup a site like I have to pull data from both pools and re-show graphs (I only have setup for old graphs) so you can see both data from each pool at the same time. This is the only way I would know how to do it without changing any of the code. To get the old graphs, you'll need to install an older version of P2Pool and start it up (to get caching) then upgrade to the latest. This will show on the page "depreciated. go to /static" but it will show the older graphs. |

You must upgrade to P2Pool 0.10.3 or greater before April 1st (or March 27th for Litecoin) and install either Bitcoin 0.6.0 or the 0.5.4 backport to ensure compatibility with BIP16 Looks like the people who where not upgraded got kicked from the network. |

I forwarded port 9333, the p2pool instance is reachable from outside, but noone ever connected to it (except one for testing). This is around one, two weeks now. Some people suggested that a node has to be "reliable" for people to connect to it. The node is running 24/7, but the internet connection reconnects every 24 hours. Maybe this is the reason. Ente |

I have a question: I forwarded TCP and UDP on port 9333 from my router to my pc, but I always get: Why doesn't it connect to more nodes? I think the network is ok. Here is an example of how after program re-installation new connections were coming slowly. This is my last 24 hours.  Do you have a static IP address? Panda Mouse. |
