This coin needs new solutions, new developments because there is much better coins than doge, also when the market begins to recover in this coin there will be demand.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

This is one of crypto currency, but price and growth are not really good and prices are falling very low, there are some positive advantages over the past few weeks but still not enough to increase in popularity.

At the rate at which we keep seeing new altcoins being created i think dogecoin will not survive and the dogecoin community will move on and support other coins unless devs come up with something that will give people a reason to stay

Dogecoin is a meme and community coin. It doesn't has any real world use cases per se but is used by its community as a token for fun. Dogecoin will have a future as long as it has an active community. But once the community starts dying the coin will die with it.

I think that Dogecoin isn't serious project. This coin was created for pumping and for the cheapest transactions.

it is. any coin with a relatively small market cap can be a target for pump and dumpers. The dev teams cannot control this.
I don't see as investment, but an useful coin with a lot of liquidity and low fees.

Not sure if it has a future or not, but it will definitely stay here for a while.
Why? Since it is a big middle man for people to buy other smaller coins. Coins that are below 100 satoshis. Doge coin is a better value measurement for those coins. A lot of exchanges use it.
The thing is doge coin has very little to zero products and real life applications. So it really depends on how people will continue use it.

I concur. As long as Dogecoin is being exchanged in the market, it will be here to stay for quite a long time. But, it's future would be uncertain, as there is no active development whatsoever. There are bigger and better altcoins out there in the market, which may leave Dogecoin useless and a purely speculative cryptocurrency. What I'm most surprised about it, is that it still has a wealth of supporters behind it, which they could keep the coin alive for quite some time.

All in all, the future of the DOGE will depend if people will continue to use it or not. It's very beneficial as a cryptocurrency for micropayments and tips, but not as a serious investment for the long run. I hope that Dogecoin would shine among the most prominent cryptocurrencies in the market for a couple of years from now. Smiley

The coin is based only on the meme. Will you invest 10,000USD or more into something what is based only on fun? Probably no, so I dont think why Dogecoin has such market cap Wink.

Dogecoin has a great past, but I doubt that this Doge will have same future. I think that Doge awaits the fate of Feathercoin, Namecoin, Peercoin and other oldschool coins.

Dogecoin is a universal tool for micropayments and when working with crypto-exchanges, so it is for many people one of your favorite coins. I hope that he will have a long life.

but if for investment issues, I think this is a good coin. the excess of the Doge coin will make it more attractive to people but if the team doesn't try to develop it, I think there will be lots of new coins that can pass it.

I thought this forum thread was quite old. But it's newer than I thought. Before Dogecoin has a future, it really serves the purpose. I don't think this is possible. Maybe in the past but not now.

I think it never returned to being worth in excess of 100 sts for a doge coin since it was a quite simple to discover. One gathering on facebook that I know there are a huge number of individuals consistently running the freedoge apparatus love the normal consistently that every individual acquires in excess of a hundred thousand doge for each day, the count of doge day considerably more then it will lose its esteem. As I would see it will be 10 sts and will gradually vanish
Doge will not worth big money one day.. It is used for pumps by whales time to time, because it has fairly big community.
That's all

There are many people who hold these coins and trade them. Maybe the Dogecoin will show themselves. They certainly will not grow to some kind of crazy values, but they will certainly bring profit to those who have them and who will closely monitor the market.

I don't think it has a future. It's good for transactions and exchange but otherwise I don't see it as a coin with any potential any more and stopped investing in it.

I believe it can reach $1 in the long term so I will keep holding it. It's now among top 10 cryptocurrencies, so anything may happen.
