When will coinexchange make the swap? Is it the first november? thanks Smiley
Yes. 1 november
What about Cryptopia, when XLR_Xevan will be listed there?

Hope to see the new Solaris on Cryptopia too. It is much better that the coinsmarkets exchange and has a lot more currencies to trade.

Very much interested to see it on Cryptopia also. Is there any plan to have it there?
An answer to this will be much appreciated dev.
Thank you.

Cryptopia is to expensive.  When Coinexchange.io will swap Solaris we can update github and explorer on CoinMarketCap . Then we can apply for bigger exchange.  After 06 December we will know how many coins was swapped and what in the circulating supply ( on Cryptopia is still over 100 k XLR unswaped) . Then we can try Bittrex .

We not planning back to Cryptopia .

Thanks for your support!

What is the annual rate at Solaris Xevan POS?

You can check that out at mnrank.com. That's your best bet since the ROI changes depending on the number of masternodes running on the network

Cryptopia was going to charge the full 5.8 Bitcoin to be listed there with the new algorithm, even although XLR had already paid to be there when on Nist5.  They can go stuff themselves as far as I'm concerned.

Anyways, CoinExchange.io has substantially higher volume than Cryptopia too:  https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

~$40,000 is too expensive for a developing coin like Solaris. Is the price fixed and no room for negotiation?

I really tried but I got this answer :

Cryptopia standpoint:

Quote
"As XLR will be a new coin, it needs to undergo coin and code review again and the fee reflects the work required from our Dev team as well as support for the life of the coin on Cryptopia. This is reflected in the listing fee, which is why we don't currently offer discounts. "

"Once the swap is complete, you can apply via Paytopia to have the new XLR coin relisted. We are happy for you to do this at anytime and we can wait until you are ready for it to go online, assuming it passes code review."

Can someone help me how to add the nodes? what file I have to open or create?
DEVs could put "how to" behind the nodes in the first page.

So I've tried setting up my masternode on my own as much as possible, using the guide, and after troubleshooting a few things myself I've hit a wall.

I'm logged in on my VPS, I'm viewing it in Terminal through ssh, I'm in the solaris directory, I've gotten and compiled both the linux64 daemon and qt, and every time I run ./solarisd it tells me I haven't configured my solaris.conf but I have.  I can see solaris.conf when I ls and I can edit it and it has all the right info, but solarisd insists I haven't set it up.

Did I create it with the wrong permissions?

My VPS is running debian jessie 64bit.  Thanks to anyone who can help, I'm so close to getting my first masternode up and running.

Yes, Cryptopia is expensive these days. Did you try with Nova?
They are now on hold for adding new coins, but it is worth to try to apply.

I like Livecoin, but their voting is limited to only 1 vote every 30 days per active account, so I think we would need thousands more active Solaris members in order to get enough votes there using their free system.  They charge 4 BTC to be listed outright, which is allot, but less then Cryptopia (and Livecoin is the better exchange easily imo.)

C-Cex isn't that high of a volume, but it looks like they might be more doable via the voting method.

I don't know anything about mercatox myself.

Is your solaris.conf actually a conf file???. I've seen many occurrences where people have added a solaris.conf file but forgot to select ALL when saving the file and have saved it as a .txt file (default is this) so it's called solaris.conf but its a .txt file which is incorrect even tho it is called solaris.conf.

Okay, I've deleted the old one and I'm creating a new one.  I have to use vi because the VPS won't let me install nano.  It says "All" in the bottom right hand corner now, "solaris.conf" [New File] in the bottom left.  Is that accurate now to create the config file?  Thanks so much for your help, I'm tryin here.

EDIT: I'm still getting the same error from solarisd, even though there's a .conf file I created.  What can I do to create a file and not save it as a text file?

I agree that is ridiculous pricing and service.. I mean I like topia as an exchange for the most part. Its actually one of my go to places to trade at but thats a little much to just do a coin swap especially when the dev has proven to be a trustworthy dev with no malicious code. Sounds like they are just trying to charge for whatever they can to A) Be greedy and because they know they can and get away with it as some people will pay the re-listment price to get back on topia. B) To make the barrier of entry of high to reduce scams and everyone doing coin swaps and things like that. I tend to agree that they should at least offer a more fair price the coin isn't changing names or devs or anything really just the code base which the employees have probably read through a thousand times by now.

Hey! I'll be glad to help you. If you just run /.solarisd, it assumes that your wallet dir is /home/user/.solaris. And this is exactly where your solaris.conf should be.

If you have solaris.conf file elsewhere, type
Code:
# to copy from current directory
cp solaris.conf ~/.solaris/.
otherwise, you could re-create it in correct location
Code:
vi ~/.solaris/solaris.conf

Switch to insert mode by pressing 'i' or 'ins'

Paste your config and save file:

Press Esc to switch to command mode

type

:wq

and press Enter
