FYI, masternodes hosted on a VPS do not contain the coins locked up... Unless you are foolish enough to make that wallet your local wallet. The coins stay in your local wallet and not on the VPS. Also I have never seen a work around to a hard coded one IP address that actually works...

With Virtual Machines and VPN Service which give you a virtuall static IP and individual Port forwoarding it works ... While not a bad idea. I've never seen a VPN that actually give you the same static IP every time you sign in (and wouldn't being on a relay like most VPNs function cause a node to not work right?). Obviously you would be keeping the computer up an running but then if you had to restart you would have to redo everything. If a VPS crashes you just restart, no need to edit. Both are services you usually pay for, I doubt a free VPN would cover the bandwith you need unless you never use that computer... |

I have a theory about multiple nodes on one machine, but I have not yet tested it. Would be interesting to read about this guy's method, and if it works it's still a good way to stake coins if you have more than a thousand of them. (Yes, what I thought also involves VMs, but if that's optional that would be better.)

But i think that the Most people had Not more then 5 masternodes and a computer with 4 Cores and 8 GB RAM should have no Problems. |

If you still have NIST5 XLR, then you still have your coins. Unfortunately, the time for swapping is over and that's your fault. Again, you were online and actively posting on this forum at the time of the swap, so ... you have things more important than monitoring the actions of the developer of the coin. |

Starting at block 146375 ~January 20 14:00 UTC Great! The update went smoothly, both local wallet and masternode updated ok. Wanted to note that my ubuntu server and local machine required to install additional libevent-dev package to compile a new wallet or run pre-compiled one. |

Yes, you can solo-mine at old NIST5 algo, but it makes no sense, as you could transfer these money only to those who still uses old NIST5 wallet  I wanted your wallet address to check when the funds were transferred there, and to be presice, to check if you're cheating or not. There's no need to hide your wallet address, it is public anyway. If you go Tools Debug console Information It will tell you how many masternodes there are. |
