why does cryptocompare show xlr at such a low price ... approx $1.50 usd

how do I check if I have the latest wallet?  I set up my node at the end of nov, looks like I need to update from first page of this ANN

if I do need to update, are there instructions somewhere?

is there a discord for solaris? 

Last I know cryptocompare is working on implementing current XLR exchange since Cryptopia didn't support the swap (nist5 -> xevan) for free. Best to use Solaris on CMC.

As long as you keep a backup of your wallet.dat (%appdata%\solaris\wallet.dat) you are pretty much safe.
Delete contents of %appdata%\solaris\. Install latest version of the wallet. Exit the wallet. Place the wallet.dat backup back in "%appdata%\solaris\". Optional: for the quickest blockchain-sync select a few nodes close to you from the explorer and add them as 'addnode=' to "%appdata%\solaris\solaris.conf"

Hey dev. Masternode setup does not work. I waited until the libzerocoin implementation came out before attempting to setup a masternode.

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64 bit server edition
My solarisd -daemon runs fine without masternode setup.
Ports are routed at my enterprise edge and allowed on the servers.
I deposited 1000 solaris into 2 different addresses on my wallet.
Then I waited for 120 confirmations (and it's WAY past 120 at this point) before trying to setup a masternode.

I'm using CLI only and was able to retrieve all the information in the PDF instructions via ./solaris-cli commands
for the masternode.conf and solaris.conf file.

I've tried setting up both masternodes, 1 masternode...  and nothing works.

I don't want to use a VPS because I don't trust any server I can't get my hands on myself.

I want to use a server at my public IP address on the same node as my solaris wallet.

Is what I'm doing possible, or do I need to spin up a separate instance of solarisd -daemon, one for each masternode.

The instructions don't work when trying to substitute my public IP address, or 127.0.0.x for the localhost the solarisd -daemon resides on, or any other combination of the localhost IP(s), i.e. 127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.2, and/or my public IP address.

Any idea why I keep getting this regardless of what I do?

I created a DGB address -> mined ~20 DGB to that address -> sold it for BTC -> bought 1 KCS -> voted.

Don't know if you can buy 0.1 KCS, in that case mining 3 DGB should suffice.

We as a community are doing a terrific job voting on Kucoin however we need a lot more votes if we are going to win this thing. Keep promoting Solaris everywhere you can and get the word out about voting for Solaris. Good to see we are now at number #3 overtaking that over hyped ETN which I thought would be Solaris main competition but its not. I'm sure we have a bigger enough community to overtake these top 2 coins and remember for every vote people will earn 1 XLR valued at around $7 usd which isn't bad for a few minutes of your time.
