Is it possible to hire someone who can set up a masternode for me?
If so, who?
Where would I look for such a person?
What should I be aware of or beware of?

You could try NodeVPS, they do most of it for you and have simple video guides for the few steps you need to do yourself. You could also use NodeShare, I believe they have a service where they will set it up for you via Team Viewer or something like that. I don't recommend accepting any help from users here, at least not if it involves them having your coins, wallet, password etc... use a reputable site like one of the two above. http://nodeshare.in/https://node-vps.com/web/ |

Well I'm all ready to go as I just updated my Solaris wallet ready for the zXLR on Jan 20th. I'm thinking as we get closer to this date that the price will finally break the $50 barrier which Solaris has yet been able to achieve. Once that happens we could see the price spike to $60 and even continue going up to $100 in just a short amount of time. Looking forward to Jan 20th to see how all this plays out.
I totally agree with your estimation. It will be pumped in a short period is that 2x would be cancelled by whales, that always take advantage of it. |

I did an upgrade of MN version two days ago. Left it running for a night...nothing.
Today: Did a full new reinstall of VPS and Wallet on PC. Did wait for VPS wallet until it reached last block.
Did the same with local Wallet....Everything is enabled and active. After 4hrs nothing..
Might be a bit too soon, but I have no idea if I did anything wrong (followed manual).
Everything was running ok for several months ....until the upgrade. So every time you upgrade .. your MN gets way back in line?
Only error in debug log I could find was: GUI: libpng warning: ICCP: known incorrect sRGB profile.
Did masternode list. They show up with very high ranks high 2xx up to 4xx
MN reward ?: It must be amongst the 10% oldest nodes (by last received payment) (found for PIVX)

Sorry you experienced a stuck block, there was a small issue with the network few days ago that caused this with a small minority of people. Sounds like your Masternode is working now, since it was a fresh start, please allow up to 24 hours to get your first reward. After that it should be working like clock-work. No other upgrades/updates are planned for the foreseeable future that would require to update the masternode. |

Anyone can help you set up a masternode, you keep your private keys with you. How much are you willing to pay? Someone here may do that for you. You also need to get the VPS up and running already, so you may have to buy one, and give the root login credentials / password. How about signature campaign, Dabs? Will it be re-opened in the January? Thanks.
Wait for dev to make official announcement. Guys Crytopia are delisting this coin. I don't know what there reason is so do some digging & find out.
Cryptopia wants 5 BTC to list the XEVAN coin. They are delisting the NIST5 coin. The only exchanges for now are CoinExchange, KuCoin and Crypto-Bridge. |

Download latest wallet for your OS. I think v2.2.0.0. Make sure to backup your wallet.dat file. |

What if I delete the wallet accidently? I will not be able to recover my coins without my private keys or memnonic phrase.

I am in contact with a friend who just emailed the developers with basically the same concerns and questions I have asked. When the developers have responded, and my friend emails to me their response, I will post the instructions they give to clear up the issues I and my friend are having. People are watching this thread who have held back buying Solaris Coin. I am sure when they see that the developers are responsive and willing to help people who need it, then the price of the coin will rise.
