Wow, it just typos. Anyway, devs should correct those ones. It seems that they are very, extremely busy with coding, working on time in their coding caves.

Not yet. This one will end at 29th of Jan, Eastern time. Devs also announced that after the end of the logo contest (after the point of time, they won't accept any new application), they will give links to vote.

MESSAGE FOR MASTERNODE OPERATORS

Solaris masternode holders are responsible for holding up the solaris network, ensuring the sanity of the budget system through their votes, providing security through their network nodes, and more.
The blockchain network is in turn paying you for your service hence "Proof of Service" consensus protocol.
Inasmuch as many of masternode operators are concerned about their reward payouts, it is prudent for all Solaris masternode operators to optimally serve the network as they ought to.

To make this service to the network more efficient, I would like to bridge the information system for people who run masternodes ONLY.
All that i require from you to help you to serve the network more effectively is an ACTIVE EMAIL ADDRESS using the form in the link below.

SOLARIS MASTERNODE NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION FORM

Under no circumstance will you be spammed.
Only relevant information will be sent to you.

This will be soon expanded to cater for everyone else through a wider reaching newsletter system

Price down to 18$... I know many said "so what". I know many are happy to get their coins cheaper... Ok... So you get your cheap coins and set up a masternode. And what next? You get paid for running a masternode. You invested heavy money unless you were lucky. Don't you want your investment back? I am shocked observing how cheap some of us sell. BTC and ETH slightly down so the XLR is as predicted. People - stop selling for peanuts unless you really need money. Who wants to buy will buy.

Good idea to help ensure that Masternode owners are "in the loop" so to speak. I submitted my email address and I encourage all other Masternode owners to do the same.

A lot of masternode coins have dropped price quite a bit in the last 24/48hrs so it wasn't just Solaris that people sell for peanuts. I think it also would of dropped when the miners who just mine for profit and not the coin would of stopped mining when the mining reward went down a few days ago as well and so they sold off their coins.

I understand this one too however would it not make more sense to sell slowly at a higher price waiting for a higher profit rather than simply dump it? I was surprised to see a good few selling hundreds of XLR at once. This is not helping the price neither those traders.

Can someone verify this is correct to update my MN?

Code:
cd solaris
./solaris-cli stop
wget https://github.com/Solaris-Project/Solaris/releases/download/v2.4.0.0/solaris-daemon-2.4.0.0-linux64.tar.gz
tar xzvf solaris-daemon-2.4.0.0-linux64.tar.gz
./solarisd -daemon

Restart wallet (with 2.4.0.0)

Code:
walletpassphrase
startmasternode alias false MN1
Basically, You're right.
However If you're able to stop your masternode, download new wallet, unzip it and restart the version 2.4.0.0 wallet within a few minutes to about half an hour, there will be no need to restart your masternode with "startmasternode alias false MN"
The network permits servers (masternodes) to be offline for about a few minutes to an hour

Hello all,

The logo submissions are official closed. There have been a lot of fantastic logos and the team will have a hard time picking the top choices for the vote. It was decided to lower the amount chosen for the final vote to 5 logos to ensure a clear winner will be picked.

Voting will begin today at 10PM UTC.

Thank you for your support !

May be even jr.member can not wear the signature of any altcoins, that is actually the bad news I heard recently. To get enough 10 merit points is the hardest part to become to Member. Good luck.

Where will the result of logo contest be announced?
Please check information and annoucement of Solaris logo contest there, bro:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766083.0

The logo contest ended. It's time to vote. Link for voting will be update in the thread I gave you soon by Solaris' devs.

Another good news is after new logo chosen, Solaris signature campaign will be re-opened.

The bad news is, only Member rank and above will be accepted as a consequence of new merit system. Some clues for you, you have to collect 60 activities and 10 merit points (at least) to be ranked up to Member.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

In addition to activity, everyone now has a merit score, and you need both a certain activity level and a certain merit score in order to reach higher member ranks. The required scores are:

RankRequired activityRequired merit
Brand new00
Newbie10
Jr Member300
Member6010
Full Member120100
Sr. Member240250
Hero Member480500
LegendaryRandom in the range 775-10301000

You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts. Additionally, when someone sends you merit points, half of those points can be sent by you to other people.
[\quote]

Good luck, bro.
