Yo can anyone say what the average masternode payout is per day? I tend not to trust masternodes sites as they seem to be wrong usually!

I've switched from staking and it seems that masternodes earn a lot less than staking?!

i though solaris will moon after POS start and block reward halving, but still its holding its price, i still believe so but maybe its taking its time for the bull run.

I tough so,too. But they have so many issues with wallet after POS started,
many got scarred and gave away from their masternode and sold coins.
Wallet didn't work on some exchanges. They fixed issues and after that price started go up.
It is still the same, but maybe this is it,the price of XLR.

hi ,devs
do you have any issue tracker?
I'd like to use it to report a bug and see if it could be fixed
How can I do it? because forum is not a good way of bug tracking Smiley

I wonder if any answer on my issue with windows 2016 server wallet problem

Hi. What version of windows 2016 server you use? 32 bit or 64 bit?  You should try to delete all files from Solaris folder and keep only wallet.dat file. And then download again wallet and see if still get error.

Please make sure you have back up solaris wallet (you can get private key of address and back up togheter with wallet.dat).
win 2016 server x64
tried to delete all and resync - wallet simply cannot start. I posted event error message about it in this thread

I tested wallet on windows 2016 server and it run without problem at first start as you can see on this image https://s14.postimg.cc/emc1z8w4h/Untitled.png

Are you sure you downloaded XLR wallet version for x64 bit? Are you having problems running others programs on your PC?

Is your windows up to date? I will download and install this week windows 2016 server x64 and see if i get same error, if you or Solaris team still didn't find a solution for your problem.
last update was at 18.04
2018-04 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4093120)
see screenshot about my system https://yadi.sk/i/O6_j3HJ83UpL5B

I really don't know why you can't run XLR wallet on your PC with windows server 2016. As you can see on image XLR wallet running without problem. Have you any settings and your windows which can block running some .exe file?
I found a reason - something happened with user account so windows started to block running new applications
I created new user account and the problem is gone

I'm glad that you find the problem and solved your issue.
Have a nice trading with Solaris and gather more coins to hold to have an extra income when txbit.io exchange will be launched.

I'm also trying to collect as many of these coins as I can. It seems to me that this will be an excellent source of additional income.

I have found that running a masternode we'll get between 1.6 to 2.4 XLR daily. On 600 XLR staking I found that I got 9 stakes sometimes 10 stakes per day. So that is around 2 XLR daily from 600 XLR which I had split into 150 coin blocks and not in one large block. So going by my stats it does seem that staking earns a little more but remember this can change in the near future as more people start staking. Then MN will be paying more as long as the number of MN remains the same at around 700. I think people need to find the right balance and see what works best for them and go from there.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Masternodes will have the big plus of being able to be linked to the txbit.io exchange in the future (and earning more profits from it), so even if staking is comparable income wise right now I don't think it will be comparable in the future.  In any case, as vella said, people need to try both and see which works out best for them.

You are spot on my friend, masternode holders will in the long term make even more once txbit is launched. To be honest the best way to maximise the most out of Solaris right now is to run a masternode and stake at the same time as long as people have a few hundred extra XLR to stake or combine the MN rewards into larger blocks of coins to stake.

I found the answer I'd like on the front page: Solaris is going a step further to consolidate this privacy feature by incorporating the ZeroCoin protocol.

From my limited experience, this is not a bad thing.  I remember when I was newer to crypto, I was on the Signatum hype train and mined the crap out it because I was expecting it to moon when POW ended.  It crashed hard immediately and continued to bleed to the point it became worthless.  Granted, the founder disappeared but the dump started before that news was even out.  Solaris actually went up from under $5 to over $8 so I think this is a tremendous vouch of confidence in the coin.

EDIT:  Oh yeah, the price of Signatum dropped every time the block reward was reduced as well.  That happened when the dev was still around.  Solaris is in great shape imo.

i fell you bro, had the same time on sigt and every time i see an pow -> pos transition i get scary and remember that hell of time, but i learned a lot and im very happy that Solaris is another world project and just made it successfully, lets be honest that the Doc (sigt dev) seems to be planned to fuck and scam with all community since the very beginning, unfortunately

HODL your Solaris, please. Txbit.io exchange is coming, don't sell Solaris at lows.

I don't think you need to convince anyone.. let the people sell, they will be the person that will buy at x2/x3 price from now within couple months Wink
We already know the potential of solaris, let the people discover themselves.

ps. as soon as my new raspberry arrives, i will start staking, i am excited ehehe Cheesy

Presently staking seems more profitable probably because there are more masternode online as compared to less stakers.

I have a question. I don't know where can I find my private keys on Solaris windows wallet. Can anyone help me?

1 Unlock the wallet. (If locked.)
2 Go to Tools --> Debug Console.
3 Type the following:
"dumpprivkey *solaris address*" (without quotes)

Hi. Are the CE wallets enabled yet? It has been so long with Kucoin and Cryptobridge trading as usual.

Another thing - I used to moan about the price drops and so on but I would like to post something positive. I cannot wait for this coin to be put in real use meaning to be able to buy something online, pay for services etc using Solaris making it a lot quicker than usual forms.
I hope all this will come to us all abd Solaris will flourish.

As for the price - I als believed it was going up but you can clearly see people don't really want to dump it as cheap and except for the switch panic daily traing volume dropped nearly 10 times. From 23 to 2.3k in last 24h. Why is this? No one wants to sell so cheap and this is just right. This will help the price to get back up.
I woudn't expect it to reach 50 or even 100$ but who knows.
Happy Sunday everyone!
