I'm gonna stock-up again if the price touches sub-$1000, because who knows how deep will this go. Gonna try my luck  . I am thinking of doing the exact same thing. I cashed out some profits above $1200 and even above $1300 (even though it wasn't a lot that I cashed out above $1300). How can I say no to a minimum of 20% discount? But as always, I never buy with all funds I have. I prefer to buy in smaller portions as that will basically allow me to buy all the way down. |

dude you are way too late to the party the lowest price of today was $1052.7 on bitfinex and $1056.3 on bitstamp and at least for the moment it seems like going down has stopped and will soon becomes too late to buy cheap coins when price jumps back up above $1200 again. |

bitstamp touched $1000 and bitfinex $1001. i am interested in seeing how long the $1000 mark will hold. obviously, that dump could have easily pushed the price below $1000 but that wasn't the intention (yet). congratz to those that had low $1000's buy orders open. quick profits.

This was a very manipulated correction.
Manipulation is always when market moves against a trader. It moves up - traders scream manipulation, it moves down - traders scream manipulation, it moves down but not enough - traders scream manipulation. you only think that because you are not looking deep enough into what people say. obviously some people are full of it no matter what they say. but mostly when people say manipulation there is a reason behind it. example: - when ETF rejected and price dropped, it was obviously manipulation. use your brain. why should it drop? was ETF necessary for bitcoin? was ETF a fundamental thing for bitcoin? - when price dropped in the past 2 days what was the reason? was there really a fork? did bitcoin split? did BU have enough hash power to even be remotely close to a fork? does even fork mean split? the answer to all above answers with a little bit of brain power is NO which leaves us with only other explanation: manipulationthis is true about price rise also. when price goes from x to x +20%x in 1-2 days it is a pump. when price increases 130% in 5 minutes (check altcoins) it is obviously manipulation. As I have said in the previous thread, I can't still made up my mind on why the sudden dump on bitcoin. ETF is a non-factor, we already proved it, BU issue probably, but as you have said, maybe not. Winklevoss twins or other entity entities "maybe" behind this price manipulation. But if Winklevoss doing it, but why now? Why not after 2 days after the rejection? is there an secret entity or entities who are really behind this price manipulation? I don't know. Maybe you are right. this is the correct price of bitcoin after the ETF and not %1200-1300 as we have. My speculation is that after ETF, the base price is $900, and we are near that price right now. |

The price of bitcoin fell back to $1,070! I think now is the best time to buy bitcoin. Though it may fell further to this $1,050. The people bank of china released the draft of guidelines to bitcoin exchangers and I think that is the reason price is reacting. May the God of bitcoin be with us.
This is unexpected news. Current price decline occurred in all bitcoin exchange. bitcoin prices experienced a greater decline in recent days, and has not been seen to be an increase again. need some great news to be able to increase the price of bitcoin back on the stock exchange. |

I agree with you although for me this is yet another ordinary day in crypto-currency world. For now im watching the price movements. |

I hope that it is true but when it comes to bitcoin you cannot predict anything as you do not know what is going to happen,but in the case of ETH fork we were informed before hand about the fork and the split and i do hope if there is anything we will be informed earlier and why there is a manupulated correction now when they had all the chances to go down when the SEC rejected the ETF. I am not sure whether it is a good time to buy ,i will rather wait out and make a decision. |

It wasn't that unexpected. BU drama was hanging in the air for quite some time, where the effects are being felt right now. People are unsure what will happen, where many of them don't even know what the effect will be of a potential chain split. At this point there isn't really any news that market can use to make a jump up. Especially when you consider that the market isn't really news driven anymore (beside the occasional events that get hyped up). |

People/users with BTC don't see any end soon to the BU/Core issue and infighting. Why risk funds even more. Some pulling out to buy other coins now instead like ETC, others just taking their cash and holding until resolved (did some here bit ago). Always the risk that this could permanently destroy trust in BTC thus recovery won't occur for long time, 1-2 years... definitely destroyed already trust from any institutional interest. |

Not sure what is going on, look on CoinMarketCap and you'll see like 90% of the top 100 Altcoins are on negative change in the last 24h. I think China affected the price the most.. My question is how many times will they try to investigate the Bitcoin users..? People are getting afraid of being investigated, and being tracked through Bitcoin is against its core features.. |
