Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

"a few years out". They may adopt it but on that "surprising"  Wink timescale will not be innovating.
At this moment, bitcoin needs people bridges: People who are in other industries figuring out how to apply the tech.

A R.E. Firm who uses escrow for bitcoin and colored coins for contracts, recorded deeds notarized by the blockchain ?

There 'used' to be more truth in forums than anywhere else.  Twitter:  @cryptobitchicks  Spock: "I am expressing multiple attitudes simultaneously. To which are you referring?"  INTJ-A
