For the record, I've been running stable at 300M chip frequency and 71.5gh/s average for the past 4 hours. All chip temps are the same as they were at the 282M setting. In any case, I've moved back to 282M until I can confirm many batch 1 and 2 units have and can be running at that rate safely for long periods of time.

Perhaps you should disclose if you have received a defective control unit

that overheats and if you fixed it to prevent this from happening?

If you sell it, do you give guaranty? Can the buyer get support (replacement parts) from Avalon?

I'll open it up and take a look this weekend. From what I've read, disabling the wifi interface can prevent overheating the usb interface. I'm using ethernet and never had wifi wnabled in the first place.

May I ask why you sell it, instead of using it (mine yourself)?

Still open question

Greed
the original question implies that he would be better off not selling it and mining with it himself.  so then it wouldn't be greedy to sell it.

i call it business acuity

oh, and this is a particularly good time to do the offloading too,

disabling the wifi interface will not prevent overheating.
