Any ideas what to buy now and keep for longer ? (1-3yrs) ? 

I will choose the top coin for long-term investment because it is more promising and has greater expectations for profit. But if you prefer new coins or invest in the ICO then you must be really careful in choosing if not then your money will be lost.

According to risk management principals I prefer to diversify my risks and prefer to form portfolio from several cryptocurrencies. That's why main part of my portfolio consists of Bitcoin (35%) and Ethereum (20%). With 10-15% of my money I trade for short term period and with risky assets, but I don't do even this. ADA have very high supply and are overvalued right now . EOS are centralized .
ICON are more like NEO . better times will come for ICON i am sure maybe not 100$ in 1year but 20$ in the end of the year for sure .

Besides, long term investment has so many advantages that you do not get when you invest in coins good for short term investment.
