People in Syria and Iraq are dying everyday but people don't care about them but when Americans , Europeans have a terrorist attack then the news will be flooded with only that shit. People's life are the same it shouldn't matter which country citizen they are . Syria and Iraq should be treated like the rest of the world.

The Europeans and Americans are all preoccupied with themselves and care nothing about the plight of people in Syria or Iraq. Their governments even bomb the citizens of these countries but nothing is done about this all in the name of fighting terrorism.

I agree with the post above 100%, governments claim that they are fighting terrorism and making the world a peaceful place but If we start counting, we will find that the innocent people are much higher then the terrorists.

Iraq and Syria still gets more attention than other places, mainly because it still affects the western world (e.g. immigrants and terrorists). How many cares about the fighting and starvation in South Sudan, for example?

Thing is, people are egoistic at heart. They care mainly about things closer to them, as they have a higher chance of actually affecting them.

There is a reason why the media is not highlighting the plight of the people in Iraq and Syria. Many of the media outlets in the Western nations are owned by the rich Arabs from the GCC region. And remember that the civil war in Syria was triggered by the Saudi / Qatari support to the Islamic radicals. The media has tried it's best to hide the role of the GCC nations.

People in the middle east (muslims) have been killing each other and killing other cultures as well for centuries. To us westerners these people are barbaric insecure uneducated and unworthy of us caring for them. Why did you say that nobody cares for and what are  the facts that serves as your basis. There are aides and support coming from other countries some in the form of prayer and some in goods and aides. But of course the aides cannot support all of the victims and even the government of those countries have troubles distributing the goods due to conflict.

You know what, i've had that observation as well. People tend to be too one sided when it comes to people from the middle east, Mainstream media, mostly western media, tend to downplay what's happening with those countries and highlight issues from rich western and european countries as well. I remember during the paris attack, i mean if you compare the the scale of people dying to that of syria, i think the latter should warrant more sympathy that it got considering that it's even an ongoing issue up to now
