Hey, I'm new to the site/etc and can't post this anywhere else I don't think - My problem is I sent 1300 PPCoins yesterday from one wallet to another about 15 hours ago.  And PPCoin still says 0/6 confirmations with the other wallet not recognizing a transfer..  The PPCoins have been debited and there is a ? next to the transaction.. Help??

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Go here: http://cryptocoinexplorer.com:2750/
and search the blockchain for your transaction to see if it has actually hit the network, then you can start searching for where it is hung up at.

Good luck!

Did you try rescanning the wallet with ppcoind?

Could you restart qt in server mode (add server=1 to ppcoin.conf) and then do
ppcoind listtransactions
find the transaction in question and look up the transaction id at cryptocoinexplorer.com

Also check your debug.log to see if there is any recent errors.
Usually if a transaction failed to broadcast for whatever reason, the client would retry the broadcast periodically.

I haven't done anything, just made the transfer and went to sleep after waiting several hours expecting it to be confirmed in the morning..  The $ is in neither wallet though so which one should I rescan?  That's the address if its needed..

This address in not seen on the network yet, which means your transaction hasn't been confirmed and is not in blockchain.

If you are using windows and have not set up ppcoin.conf, you can use an editor to create ppcoin.conf in your wallet directory (see the sample file in wiki installation page, uncomment rpcuser and rpcpassword).

To locate your wallet directory, open windows explorer, type '%appdata%'
Then your wallet directory is the 'ppcoin' directory.

You should find a 'debug.log' in your wallet directory. Please copy the part of debug.log of last few days and PM it to me.

Remember to backup both of your wallets.

I have had this type of experience a few times with various coins, it is generally caused by the client crashing or being shut down before it has broadcast the transaction to a peer node(s).

Your local client has recorded the transaction in your wallet, but no other nodes have broadcast it to be included in a block.

I have found two ways to fix this:

1. Restore the wallet with a backup created before the transaction

2. Use PYwallet to erase all the transactions in your wallet and force a true rescan of the transactions in said wallet. For some reason I have never had any luck with just using the -rescan switch to get rid of the problem transaction.
