What is Partol Button for ?

Recently i found that there's a button we can enable and disable which is partol button but i am unaware of it's function,Like what is it's use ?
When i clicked the button it showed me some weird random Posts made on this forum in which i am not interested.
Can someone go in details and explain to me that how it works ?

It shows all recent posts by newbies. There is a rank among mods called patrolers which can handle only newbies. I think it was introduced for them.

Ohh so that means it's totally useless or users like us.
lol 1st i thought no one will even think of replying to this thread.

Should i lock this thread down or wait for some other replies ?

To clarify Shorena's post, anyone can use it though. I go through and see if there is any obvious spam or bots for instance and I'm not an official patroller. You'll see all newbies posts within a few hours if I'm not mistaken. What I like is you also see newbies posts even if it's in a board that you're ignoring. For example: I ignore all altcoin boards but I can still see every post newbies make there.
