An explanation of what happened, why it happened, and where we are now... Hey everyone, I have come back here to provide information and communication that you all deserve to know. First and most importantly, I want to apologize to everyone that was a part of the original wyvern community. We had a good thing going and I single handedly ruined it. Essentially what happened is that my personal life was flipped upside down. I experienced job issues and several other unfortunate circumstances, most of which were my fault. I couldn't efficiently manage the funds I had and what I had used for contract work towards the wyvern exchange was incomplete and non-functional. I didn't know what to do, so I did the worst thing possible: I did nothing. I felt ashamed that I couldn't finish what I had promised. I was not mature enough to face the public backlash. I started working extra jobs until I had earned enough money to repay the original USD value of the wyvern exchange/wyvcorp investments. These were then distributed through ColonelClink. Since the price of BTC was skyrocketing during this time, I know I cost some of the wyvern community real life money. I caused you to miss out on great BTC profits. To any that I directly affected you have my most sincere apology, and I regret that I couldn't fully make this up to you. In the future if I am ever in a position to do so, I will without hesitation. To the community at large: I behaved terribly towards you as well as my personal real life friends. I ask for your forgiveness. You deserved better. I am resolved to be better in the future. Protinam has done an amazing job porting the wyvern coin to an erc20 token and bringing his version of the wyvern exchange live. So wyvern will live on, one way or another. We are aiming for a few days from now. We want to be as transparent as possible so we will have the source code available prior to launch as well as the blockchain explorer. The specific date/time with be given out sometime in the middle of this week.

Block Time: 120 sec Block Size: 2mb Yearly Interest Rate: 5%
Wyvern was created to provide a coin that is easily accessible to gamers. Using the NIST5 algorithm, gamers can mine with can mine with GPU's (or CPU's at a slower rate) without ASIC interference. This gives everyone a fair chance to contribute to the network. NIST5 was chosen due to causing lower operating temperatures than other algorithims (see graph below). When designing the coin, our team struggled with how to assign the coin value. We didn't want to do a pre-sale or pre-mine, so instead decided to provide the Virtual Exchange to provide the coin with value straight out of the gate. Wyvern may be exchanged for Steam items/games, as well as many popular MMO items. This is done to ensure the coin has a fighting chance to take hold in the market, and hopefully we will be able to branch out the coin from there as a community. A FAIR LAUNCH is of the utmost importance to us. Using a Pow/Pos hybrid system, we can ensure the coin has longevity past its mining period, and Pos will also encourage retention of the coin.

For the sake of transparency we are informing you of a small change to the coin. Difficulty re-target has been reduced from 500 blocks to 480 to avoid a periodic number being generated.
