Is this coin minable or is it just another POS coin with anonymous "devs" that try to sell the premine in advance to the next fool? I would say this is just another shitty scamcoin.  Grin

scam 1000%

I used to read news on those websites but had to stop because they have often helped scam projects to gain audience, helping those scammers to make even more money.

eQuid doesn't use scrypt.  We don't use mining at all.  The token is issued on the Stellar consensus platform and is earned into existence and distributed to the people building and maintaining the network.  We are less focused on the transaction technology and more focused on the money system side.  Our system will create jobs and fund planet care.  The value backing the token is created by labor before the the coin is injected into the economy.  We have some similarities to Waves in the way 2nd tier coins are issued on a blockchain.  And we have some similarities to DAO in by using a token to fund real world projects.  If you believe that mining is the only way a currency should be created then this coin is probably not for you.  If you believe that people and the planet are important and it is possible to thrive while putting back more than we take then I encourage you to visit the website to learn more.

Hi eQuid Team, why is my wallet keep saying "Your account is being set up right now and should be ready in a minute or two - you will not need to refresh your page. If your account is not usable 30 minutes after creating your account, please contact eQuid for assistance."

Are you fixing this issue atm?

Thanks

GPU mining keeps mining decentralized. Anyone can purchase a gpu. ASIC are harder to get and relies on a single company.

The GPU is a children's mischief and not the maintenance of decentralized crypto currencies only asik and asik farm is able to carry out all that is needed for crypto currency.!!!!!!!!!!!

It is spelled asiC not asik. (application specific integrated circuit)

And no, I disagree. Look at how much electric is wasted on bitcoin mining now. The x series algos are much more energy efficient and asic resistant than sha algos. ASIC farms kills the whole idea of decentralized.

I disagree with you, not the GPU eats less power than asik and without them everything will fall. And if you disappear for always, not the GPU one will notice

Sorry for the delay in responses.  You can trade your eQuid at stellarterm.com.  You will need a scecond wallet to do this like ecliptic.co.  I have some tutorials on this and more on the way.  To stay up to date it is better to visit galactictalk.org.  or you can join the eQuid channel at stellar slack http://slack.stellar.org/
