I saw comments of SJWs on Twitter, even they hated how it turned out LOL. Normally they'd be OK with whatever the Mother of Wamen do.

I think she could still end up like this in the books but what really pissed people was the short build up in the show. It's like she just went full crazy in one episode. Even her brother had a slower build up before he blew his fuse.

The ending of this show is very disappointing. They build up their characters very well in the first 7 seasons only to destroy what they build in 1 season. The hype of the Night King and his army only to be beaten in one episode. The death of the Night king did not justify the hype. Then Varys being the best in spying, deception only to be very careless in the end which cause his life. Most of all, Daenerys who is supposed to protect his people and break the wheel end up killing everyone in Kings Landing. Very disappointing indeed.

6 episodes is just not enough to end the show. They thought they can cram everything in but even with the episodes extended to more than an hour, it still comes off as rushed.

I agree with netizens, bricks killed more major characters than the Night King.

Show was doing great till 5th season(they still missed many plots and details but its acceptable because its TV show). after that they didn't had luxury to follow the books result is now in front of us lol. show started to decline during 7 season when writers were confused about the depth analysis of each characters , they end up confusing each characters and viewers feeling cheated.

this is getting really boring , I was hoping that the leaks  I saw on reddit aren't true but all of them happened here is the list of the leaks

- Varys killed by Daenerys
- the army capturing Jaime before he reach Kings Landing
- Tyrion freeing Jaime
- Jaime and Cersei dying together

these are the leaks I remember and all came true , I don't remember any leak that didn't happen

my local bookie had the betting up yesterday for who will sit on the throne but I didn't believe the leaks , if somehow they decided to bring it back I'm gonna make a max bet

Season 8 really went far from my expectations but sometimes you just cant get what you want all the time. What's really disappointing for me was the fight against the Night King. I thought it would take up at least two episodes, plus their battle tactics were to frustrating even just for an amateur to watch. The whole season just feels rushed, and it was obvious that there were budget cuts (with the short scenes of ghost).

@bbc.reporter the leaks is what prepared me for episode 5 horror show, and I’m so disappointed with this show that I have decided to skip watching the sixth episode. Tyrion could never have given Bronn anything as it was always in Danny’s hand who gets what. Also there’s a petition to remake game of thrones season 8th, and it has been signed up by 6,95,000 people already, what do you’ll think will it work?.

There was enough material in the books to expand at least 2 more seasons but they cut off some interesting details that they ran out of material by season 5. The Ironborn invasion of the west coast alone could have added a few more episodes. I understand they just want to wrap it up but they could have done better. They didn't even allowed Jon and Arya to properly finish their story arcs.

In any case, did you read the leak? The ending might be Daenerys is killed by Jon, Jon takes the black again, Sansa rules the north and a council is formed which declares Bran as king of the 7 kingdoms. Bronn is in that council. Bronn will get High Garden hehehe.

It's still a good show, let it end in some honor, let Tyrion kill Denarys and make John the rightful ruler the king. John would be the acceptable king for all of the 7 kingdoms and the north (the real north).

Denaerys is going to be dead for sure. And maybe Jon is going to be the King of the Seven Kingdoms.
If this scenario will come true, then I would be very disappointed about the Game of Thrones series, because it will be a so expected end and after 9 years I expected something more interesting.

Luckly i don't read the leak, it will make the finale become boring lol. Well tbh, i'm not expected Jon killed the queen like that. I thought it will be the last war coming.

Visually and vfx point of view last episode was good and some of my fav shots comes from the last episode. other than that nothing.

Too bad we did not make a bet on the leaks whether it will happen or not, it would have made things more fun  

IMO, I honestly didn’t think that the leaks would actually come true because:
1. Why would Bran agree to become king? Didn’t he decline to be lord of Winterfell because he was ‘no longer’ Bran, since he’s now the 3ER (three eyed raven)?
2. Why is there still a night’s watch? I was surprised to see the wall. Although, they say that its considered as a prison now thus its continued existence.

I also have some thoughts on the turn out of the last episode:
-Why are there so many dothraki and unsullied all of a sudden?
-Why is everyone okay with Sansa as queen/North’s independence
-Why did Jon go on beyond the wall? The unsullied wouldn’t know anyway since they’ll be going to Naath. Why wasn’t it exposed that he was a Targaryen?

For me, the ending was just okay. It didn’t turn out the way I wanted and I have a lot of questions but there was somewhat closure to it.

Waiting for grrm's book to finish as well lol. Though unlike most of the people i know, i didn't think the ending was that bad. Yeah in a way it was weaker than the previous season and i think people are expecting more after waiting 2 years,.but hey, the starks did end up winners here and jon and ghost did have a nice reunion. To those who were disappointed, i guess you'll have to wait for the books as well to see how it really ended 😁

The way I see it, in a few years from now, we'll get a following to the story, a new show or a movie.
Themes will be :
-Arya's adventures
-Where is Drogon ? In the North with Jon ?
-Is Bran a good ruler ?
-Will Sansa do a Dany and become crazy now that she has some power ?

Of course, I'm disappointed with this season.
The first 7 seasons were slow and it was good that way. The eighth was rushed until that last episode which was slow again and just meeeh... and don't get me started on the fact that they tried to be funny in the last 10 minutes (the lords' council and everyone laughing at Sam's or Sansa's uncle... the show is a drama and it should end as a drama, not a comedy).
The only good part of that last episode were the first minutes of tension when Dany is queen and you feel the resignation of the main characters in front of her power.
