I tried to convert the mnemonic code
Invalid root key <<< displayed
did you use the tool that is announced on the top of the page, and follow all steps precisely as in the manual?
Quote

Transferred from the exchange to a mobile wallet

mnemonic phrase
Can't code conversion
End of life of the mobile wallet was announced by the team that moved to XEP in november 2020 - going in to effect an january 1th - so your quite behind on information
Quote
Mobile wallet server
Out of operation
Even if i know the mnemonic phrase, i cannot sync it to my wallet Cry

Unfortunately, I found out that the server was stopped after I moved it to my mobile wallet...
At the moment, the only thing you can do is to install the Desktop wallet on a computer (available for Windows, MacOS and Linux) and extract your private key with the tool mentioned above.
Quote
When will the mobile wallet server resume?

Is there any way to access the wallet? Huh

node update please

There is no actual plan to resume the mobile wallet...

Thank you for your reply
Mnemonic phrases several times
After checking, in the bip39 conversion column
I entered it
Only the wrong phrase appears

With existing mobile wallet
By mnemonic phrase
creating an address
It is unlikely that eca coins will disappear,
but there are about 30 million
A little bit
I'm worried

Mobile wallet is no longer If not useful
On Google Play
Need to be deleted
It can reduce the number of victims.

If the wallet creation method is the same
Someday with mnemonic phrases Will open
hahaha..

What are some current legitimate/usable wallets ECA users can use? Also is this a current developing project or this thing dead?

The Electra-Core-Desktop wallets for Windows, MacOS and Linux are working fine (links at the start-page of this thread...)
There is no official mobile-wallet anymore - recently, the AtomicDex.wallet was still working fine. But for long term storage, I would not recommend a mobile wallet at the moment, because they need connections to servers, and you never know when those shut down...

There are people trying to form a new team for support and development, but it's still in early stages...

Thanks for the info, is there a max supply on this thing?

Initially, a max supply of 30 Billion was declared. The actual wallets have a strong declining staking rate, so expected returns are already very low, and falling even lower. If this is kept that way, the declared max supply is unlikely to be ever reached, although, technically, there is no max supply..

Electra mobile wallets are out of service since january 1th - announced in late november. Unfortunately, they have only recently be pulled from Play-Store and Apple-Store.

For Electra-Mobile wallet holders, there is a Tool to extraxt the private-keys from your Electra-Mobile wallet, the following links just leads to the Manual first (please read) https://drive.google.com/file/d/11o8RRiAwg9-Aekt8Tfq_f6ErGjIKszEN/view?usp=sharing

I said it's a mobile address several times. I can't extract the private key.
I tried entering the mnemonic phrase in the converter more than a hundred times, but the wrong route
It is only displayed as an invalid route.

Perhaps the mobile wallet can't supports Korean mnemonic phrases.

Would you like to delist without prior notice?
It's an irresponsible team that makes the application download and shuts the server down
eca is a project with no vision or hope anymore.

Yesterday I recovered 3216000 ECA from my mobile wallet easily and sent back to CoinFalcon.

My question is what can we do when a transfert is complete on an exchange but not arrived on any wallet. (blocked somewhere on the network) ?

I know - the tool is for recoverying from mobile wallets.. But if you use it in the description, only for the Electra-mobile wallet. Those have knwo been pulled from play-store and apple-store, as they are not working.

The tool sometimes shows "invalid Mnemonic" - but not "invalid route" - so you did something wrong - if your using a third party wallet with the same Mnemonic, the settings would need to be different, depending on the wallet.
Quote
Perhaps the mobile wallet can't supports Korean mnemonic phrases.
As you couldn't enter the Mnemonic yourself (when setting up the wallet), but it was generated automatically, it should support those it generated. But I would actually be very surpised if it supported any other language than English.. (I'm not an native speaker of English, so the settings on my mobile are not in English, including the GUI in the Electra-Wallet - but the Mnemonic is displayed in English (My native language is not among those listed as supported in the tool.. / so just as a test, I switched the language settings of my mobile to another language (supported by the tool) - but not English - while most things are now displayed in that other language, Mnemonic is still in English. This was one of my main reasons that I doubted that you use the official wallet - and not a third party wallet - // O.k - after testing a bit more, I found a bug in the tool - whenever you select "Language" (whatever language) for mnemonic, the settings for Electra disapear. You need to just enter the mnemonic without selecting a language.
Quote
Would you like to delist without prior notice?
It was HitBTC that delisted without notice - and not on demand... / but that the mobile wallets would stop to work was pulicly announced at the start of december
Quote

Well, while the handling of the mobile wallet question by the team that moved to XEP certainly doesn't look as best practice, it's also the duty of the "investor" to do his own research, and not blindly believe that information about not to well known projects (particularly if they saw a huge price crash recently) are always up to date and accurate - this is just not how the crypto world works. Do your own research!

Nice to hear that for someone, my tool actually worked..

As the network is working fine "blocked somewhere on the network" can't happen (not with Electra - anyhow - ) If the transaction is on the Blockchain, whoever holds the private key to that adress can unlock it..(with a fully synced wallet, that is...). If we are not talking about mobile wallets: If it's your own wallet, it's likely not fully synced - If its an Exchange - they didn't credit your account because they are lazy, have their wallet offline, or are stealing your funds... (So you would have to check with them..)

If you are, however, talking about BTC or ETH here: BTC and ETH - networks are hopelessly overloaded, so if you don't want to be ripped off by paying heavy transactions fees, your transaction might never make it on the Blockchain - for a large transaction, accepting high fees might make sense, but for small amounts, you might loose a big share of your holdings if you want to transfer them...

Unfortunately, improvement is not very likely to happend soon - ETH is working on it, but progress is slow... And with the Bitcoin community, resistance to improvement is the main idiology since several years - miners and exchanges benefit from the un-usability - and most people do not care enough - so they don't switch to the hundreds of better alternatives (Or rather, there hasn't been a clear leader among the alternatives, and so people that now join out of FOMO just rush in to BTC again, although - from the point of scaleability, its over the point of "best use by" date since at least 4 years..

I can't open that link, because its not publicly shared, so I can't check what you are talking about...

The rest of your rant is completely irrelevant

I'm not the owner or creator of Electra, nor  the mobile-wallet

I have followed this project for a long time, with interruptions, and after the team decamped to XEP (and those would be the people you might direct your rant at, not me..) I tried to help some people left behind.

I don't know if you understood everyhing that I wrote about the (slightly adapted) tool, so I can't understand what you actually did (particularly, because your link doesn't work).,

But I'm pretty sure you have to share a big part of the blame for your problem - You did not do your own research - and for that you only have to blame yourself.

So if you search for someone to blame, just look in a mirror... as a distant second, you might blame the XEP - team, and as a third, may be - Electra01 - but certainly not me..

The link is Korean mnemonic
Used in mobile wallets
This is a screenshot

Sorry if you don't understand what I'm writing - but the screenshot can't be opened because you didn't make your link public..

(And the rest of your rant may be addressd to who ever it might concern - just not me)

Dear Stakeholders,

A professor from The New School is writing a paper regarding Electra and other cryptocurrencies. If you have the time, it would be of great benefit to his research if you fill out the survey below and will give you a chance to understand the Electra userbase in more detail when results are published:
