I predict BTC price to go up significantly when the artificial 1MB block limit is removed.

And how/when is that going to happen?

You have a lot of miners with powers they want to use to cipher off money of us using the system, just like any banker does.
It was the whole purpose of BTC not to happen.

Thing is, we don't need miners. We don't need the pollution they provide.

Pick up cheap alts?  What, after they've been inflated past all rational valuations?  Nah, I think it would be a great idea to sell and take your profit off the table now (if you made one).  I definitely wouldn't be buying right now.  Bitcoin maybe, but NOT any altcoins.

Yes, most alts should have been dumped already by hodlers, the rise was unsustainable, but some got smaller pumps such as LTC, which only doubled. I sold half of my LTC and made profits, but i'll keep half of it there to hedge against the risk of a potential 51% BU mining support. I think LTC and ETH are decent bets to profit from such an scenario.

Good call. Litecoin held it's dollar value well, through the bitcoin pump as well.

When people look at alts, they tend to only look at their bitcoin value. Get into the habit of checking their dollar value - it gives a better indication of where things are going.

ETH, LTC, DASH... all on the red. Bitcoin pumping to $1100 levels too.

ETH and Dash were red even before the bitcoin rise and it will only get worse for them from now on as the dump intensifies.
litecoin however is still higher than pre pump and it is unclear which way it will go. there is talk of SegWit on it which can cause a rally but also we may stay where we are if there is no Segwit in liteocin and go down.

Maybe it's a good time to pick some cheap alts after the rally is over.

yes and no.
it depends on the altcoin and the timing. many of these altcoins you see will continue going down with some dead cat bounces and when they reach bottom they will stay there for a long time which means you either should do short term trading with them or you should not get in until their next pump.

On a small coin it's worth watching the total value of all coins combined. Price * available supply.
The smaller the group of owners / whales, the more likely that number will not moon.
Allows you to identify entry and exit points as a small investor.
