The attack was neither on the exchange nor on our game platform or data base, it was directly on the users accounts, trying to hack them.

The attackers apparently were using data bases of existing id, email and passwords hacked in other sites data bases.
That is the reason why we are asking not to use the same passwords and id on several sites because even when we are safe with our data base the user accounts can be hacked with data stolen from other sites.

in desktop XFC wallet first passphrase you will type will be saved and after normally you cannot create another wallet,, to create another you need  to clean cache.

to back up your wallet you need to go== "tools" => "export key"

I saw there is an option to turn on 2-STEP VERIFICATION now.
However, it is not the normal Google two-factor. It is a sms verification.
Why don't you use Google?

but sms is also reliable no less

It is google authenticator. I activated it so I am talking from experience.
The phone is for recovery of the account in the authenticator is lost and your recovery keys of the authenticator are lost as well.
We are not storing your passwords and log in credentials so without that if you loose your account it is lost forever.

If you have the XFC still in Counterparty and have not moved them towards the game, you would need to do this before moving them towards the FootballCoin wallet (it can be downloaded from www.xfccoin.io). I hope that makes sense.
