Also wondered what "(50% payout for avatars once 10 posts are reached)" means? Do you get 100% paid for the first 10 posts and then 50% for the next 10 posts?

No. It means exactly what it says that it means. You need to reach 20 posts to get paid for the signature. If you reach 10 posts, you will get only half of the payment for the avatar (does not apply for the signature).

Ah, it was unclear to me, since I thought 20 posts was the minimum either way (signature + avatar). It would be contridictory then to still get paid 50% if you only would make 10 posts if the minimum would be 20.

No, it would not. The minimum for the signature is 20, and the minimum for full payment on the avatar is 20. The reason for which we added the 50% was to be more lenient towards full members who couldn't reach that number. It is likely that I will remove this completely after I phase out full members.
