Regardless if you have any proof who you are (id, skype, whatever), it's not a guarantee that you'll will not run once you get the money. What will the lender do with your ID when you run? Post it in facebook and rant about you running away? Go to court in your country? That would cost more money than the loan he gave.

Though I do find it funny that he said "IP Noted" and that he will take legal action as if he have their ips and can even take real legal action. There is not much you can do with the ips, especially since the ips may vpns, proxies, doesnt belong to whoever you lend too or possibly dyn-ips. There is not much anyone can do and any "legal action" would be really pointless. Best to make a thread reporting them as scammers and if they pay then they pay, if not, just move on, and learn from this.

True, but I've had success with this method in the past when it comes to scammers. I know a few people on Alphabay who sell leaked ISP databases that are pretty recent, and most include info about these people that can be resolved from their IP. It costs me money for each lookup but it's smaller than the amount I've loaned out; pretty much peanuts anyway. People who have scammed me will get what's coming to them, either through karma or through my revenge.

As to favours, I guess it isn't a good idea to loan people with no trust history and based on their rank. You did a good job of at least pausing the loans, so that you can at least limit the damages done.

The "rank" dosn't mean that you will get repaid or that the Borrower is a trusted member here.
You have to be more cautious and careful, just a small advice from my experience...

This is good to see that you are making a public apology and actively seeking to repay the funds, you should PM favours incase he doesn't see this.

In future if you are ever going to be late on a loan repayment then make sure that you stay in contact with the lender, this way you can both agree on a repayment amount and date. Without staying in contact and making a deal it looks like you will have to pay the full 3% per day interest on this loan  and that can add up very quickly.

This guy (Favours) is not just giving out free loans, there is no such thing as a free loan.
Favours is only guilty of being a little too generous to some members, he didn't take all the precautions he should have from the start but that doesn't give anyone the right to take advantage of him.
If you take a loan then you repay it with the agreed interest otherwise you are a just scamming.

No, Banks don't give negative feedback if your paperwork/Collateral it's not enough to cover them. Why to do that anyway?
