For me i also experience that especially in some scam coins all of a sudden being dump or lets say its not an scam alt but its normal .
I would rather sell it rather than to be a bag holder if i .So the point there is don't invest too much if you aren't ready to lose how much you invested although trading is coming with those risk but you can make lessen the risk .

It is normal in trading that some time you will face losses and sometime you will get profits it is up to your mental abilities that how you can trade in the market like every trader is looking to the market demand and people interest and if you get losses then it will curious you about the future and you can earn good amount in the future . if you diversify your risk then you can deal with losses like from one side you will receive loss while on the other side you can get good profits.

How i deal with losses? I just forget that bad trade that made my day bad. If i always think of the losses it will only a distraction in my trading. I just move on and always think that i will recover that in the following trades or day.

My in my trading strategy there is room for a stop loss which take care of any loss bearing in mind that  I trade with 2% of my total investment therefore losing a trade is not going to have any effect on my investment and not a big deal to me.

In holding your alts, you need to have more patience with it. If you think the coin you bought and fall hard just cut your loss and buy another alts that you think can give you profit and return your loss back.

Patience is always said in crypto because satoshi made the original term HODL if I am not mistaken.

Set a cutloss or a stoploss so that you can lessen you losses which can be a benefit because you will sell and not loose alot from that loss trade but of course sometimes the market is against us and will pump after we hit our cutloss.

For me when bitcoin prices drop dramatically, I will try to analyze various aspects if there is still a possibility of bitcoin prices going up one day, then I will wait, but when market analysis no longer has any hope of rising, I will sell it.
