I read this post about a motherboard that supports 7 gpus. http://cryptomining-blog.com/8556-msi-z170a-gaming-pro-carbon-motherboard-for-7x-gpus/ I did all the settings listed in the original post plus the things Gemini suggested in the comments. But i could only get 5 gpus working.  When I tried to get 6 working it would bsod and give me a memory usage error. Im assuming this has to do with TOLUD but after hours and Im not exaggerating hours of looking online, searching the bios I could not find how to lower the TOLUD. If someone is willing to help me with this I swear on my kids I will send you $20 right away.
The motherboard is this one MSI Z170A Pro Carbon,
6 ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon Rx 470 8GB OC.
4gb DDR 4 memory,
Powered risers
CPU: Pentium Processor G4400 3.3 GHz FCLGA1151, power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 1000W
Mind you this is my first mining rig and I’m not very skilled at coding etc. I did see one website where it said how to lower the TOLUD with about 15+ steps all of which I didn’t understand. I can use cmd promt and follow directions well but the websites instructions was not for your average joe. So if anyone has this MB and can tell me where the TOLUD setting is bios I will send you $20 to paypal or an exhange of your choice.
Thank you!

I have to mount a 7gpu rig with this mother card, and I can tell you that I had misery with this shit chipset!

But I managed to install 7gpu.

My question is: what is your OS ?

Windows 7 or 8?

I try with windows 7, my 7 gpu was not recognized,

I format and reinstall windows 10, and follow this tutorial:

http://Https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/11404/msi-z170-7-gpu-bios-setting-step-by-step

My 7 gpu are recognized directly.

My OS is Windows 10 pro.

I'm pretty sure thats exactly how I did everything.  Maybe I installed a video card too early.  I will follow these steps to the T.. If it works $20 is yours.   One question though.  Did you install UEFI windows mode OS or regular Legacy?

Okay so I followed the directions exactly how you said.   When it tried to boot up into windows it gave me that bsod with the error attempted to execute non-executable memory

Is this a TOLUD issue or is it because I only have 4gb of ram?  Do I need 8?   I don't understand why mine is messing up.

4go of ram sufire

Tries to install windows but with 1 gpu,

There are many ram problems with this motherboard.

I myself synonymous return a motherboard because ram not compatible, yet it was in the compatibility list of msi.

If bsod always with 1 gpu tries to test another ram

Has you put the ram in slot 2?

Ah I forgot to say that I had to try with a windows hack (unofficial torrent) and I had problems installing, no boot.

I download a w10 image on the site of microsoft and it has finally boot,

it will be fine! There is no reason why it does not work.
