according to http://litecoinblockhalf.com/segwit.php we are currently at 64.93% and in order for SegWit to activate on Litecoin it only needs 75% which is about 10% more.
then it needs to keep the percentage up for a whole period and then the activation starts.

I really hope it starts within next activation period and we see SegWit soon.

also i am expecting to see the result of this on price too.

The implemented of SegWit on the litecoin will or not directly give next hype for the price of litecoin. Consider if that can be the off-chain solution for the bitcoin itself.

Starting to look like a lot of retired mining equipment is coming back online now that the price rise is making it profitable again. Most of that pointing at Segwit supporting pools. It will be interesting to see if that additional hashrate pushes it close to the 75 percent threshold.

yea for pump and $$$ averybody will do everything will be nice to see Litecoin activating it but from realist point of View LTC doesn't need it to live as BTC needs. But those miners for activating it deserve some good pump.
IN BTC i dont see such impact of BU client.
Abut pumping LTC you have to know that this coin have much more coins than in 2013 similar to doge so same way your pump expectation should be adjusted to reality.
0.02 can be Done IMO with good news behind LTC.

SegWit is the only one for the litecoin right now, Don't worry.

SegWit being the only one has nothing to do with what i just explained you have been too caught up in the bitcoin fight and FUD

you are comparing apples and oranges. nobody knew or cared about syscoin and that coin is so small that it really doesn't matter.
the volume of it is 116BTC and it is being pumped right now BTW.
and for litecoin the daily volume is 90232BTC. and the hype is real.

yeah, i also noticed that. and on reddit/r/litecoin everyone is talking about it. and it seems like many of them are looking for pools that support segwit to direct their hashrate there.
i am really hopeful for this activation though.

The Segregated Witness (segwit) soft fork has started signaling in Litecoin for a while.

Well, it seems to have increased the number of transactions in Litecoin:

you are worried about 2%? get over it man, that is nothing, 67% is still impressive, and near activation, litecoin miners have no reason to not activate, because they have already 4 x the capacity of bitcoin, with the block limit
