The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Last I checked it was 0.048 cents even with the 100% price rise, I think there is a long long way for it to be 10 cents per ripple, If you want to guess I think NXT has as much chance as Ripple to hit 10 cents.

Do not go fully in a coin just because the price is going down, some coin holders can cash out their profits and the price of Ripple may go down hard. Be sure of your investments before you commit to them.
