Hello i just found out a bout bitcoin mining few days ago and i want to get into it, did alot of research about the whole thing, but i think theres plenty more of stuff that i need to know, so thats why im here. I was checking out this site called "nicehash" and soon realised that it needs a higher first investment to actually profit from it so i was wondering if any of you could recommend a legitimate and easy to use hashing site for a begginer, thank you.

If you are still into it, u didnt do enough research. Stop man. Stop now. First read as much about mining that you would realise you will only loose money by getting into it.
Be smart, read read read, after u will calculate your loss, then decide Smiley!

For the whole existence of Bitcoin the best advice to make money off of it was always to just buy coins and HODL long term. Anything else is far more likely to ruin you than make you rich.

Reasonable post for a newbie. Well let me tell you, today the difficulty of bitcoin mining is sky high and requires a huge amount of money invested to be able to buy and cover you expenses, so just with that cloud mining services of any kind should be costing way more that they do and the best thing to do is to forget about cloud mining and mining at all, because you're not and probably never will be able to get into it effectively.

If you're really interested about mining, I'd suggest you to check out some alt-coins. Head over to the coinwarz.com and take a look at the various alt-coins, you might find some and quite a few of the mare actually worth mining. Good luck!

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

you could think about it a couple of years ago but now you are a bit too late Grin research a little and get in early in other projects, hold, sell, repeat

If you haven't ordered anything yet of those Asic machines, listen to Velkro because there is the need for you to learn more of it like traveling to China is much better than mining Smiley
I was up to it back then and realize its not going to be for me not just because of the expensive devices but the mining companies that you have to compete. And then I started thinking of just mining using the GPU, it could be worth but y still need more money and your location, and electricity cost. There so much more to consider like which coin and maintenance of your set up. These devices are going to be burning hot while running by the way.

Most of these site are ponzi scams. I've been there and done that back in my early days of using bitcoins.  You're better of buying bitcoins and hold into them and watch the price rise.

Nicehash is a software automated that you can mine altcoin converted into bitcoin as payment.. it is good for beginners but you need a good specs of gpu for your pc to mine a good altcoin and a massive earning of bitcoin..
Well you mention about online hashing site or mining i think you can not see any legit cloud mining they are turning into scam in the end. so better to don't expect that if you find some cloud mining site you will earn. its a waste of time..
Better to stick to the legit one which is mining using nicehash..

This is one of the best advises. With Nicehash you can mine with your CPU and GPU to earn you some altcoin. If you have powerful CPU like core i7 or newly created AMD ryzen together with a good graphic card you can start using the software Nicehash which will rent your CPU and GPU power and will pay you in bitcoin for this rent.

Hello Simonas!
First of all, Im really glad that we still can spot more and more people joining our bitcoin community ( which is already not so small ).
You got into bitcoin: that is really great indeed, but in my opinion you should educate yourself as much as possible, before spending any cash on it.

Is mining a great opportunity?
It was.6-7 years ago, or slightly less, around 5 years ago if you had enough funds for starting.
Bitcoin mining is a still good business, but the difficulty of blocks + the amount of people already in the game makes it unrealistic to gain profits with small investment.
If you are really up to mining- I would rather go with different cryptocurrencies, altcoins. It is not an easy thing, but you can gain more advantage than in bitcoin mining.

Good luck with your education, I hope we will see you more at bitcointalk.org Smiley

Hello Yuuto,
Good suggestion,
Which altcoins do you suggest. Which altcoins are stable enough and worth mining and what are the expected growth targets. I found GCcoin has some scope. Can anyone enlighten. I am a newbie too.

Thanks in advance.

Bitcoin mining on the individual level is not a good idea in these days. Considering aspects like difficulty and returns, bitcoin mining is turned into a business now and we should leave it for them who treat it in such way. However, you can try mining profitable altcoins. Refer altcoin mining section of this forum to learn more.

Hello safework.
At the very beginning I would relate to Dudeperfect, he is absolutely right that these days, mining bitcoin only by yourself (individually) without enormous investment size
Is rather a bad idea, or just a waste of time and resources. You should make calculations first.

Answering your questions about what alts are stable and worth mining is pretty tough task for me because
1) im not into mining at all
2) im not tracking alts, I usually just stick to bitcoin.

So my opinion isn't really helpful for you, but you may go to altcoins mining threads for more help
