I believe the stated features of BTC above are still true in a sense. It is still indeed the most popualr crypto out there and the technology that it has tramples of those from the banks. BTC is still decentralized though some parties are trying to control it for their own good. It is somewhat traceable but it is still anonymous if you know what you're doing.

well chep is not so true anymore, sending $10 and paying $1 is not what i call cheap, that is 10% of your transaction, paypal is only chargin 3.5%....

for now bitcoin as the advantage over fiat on taxes, because apparently there is no country that tax your coins directly, therefore if you use bitcoin as a currency you can legitimately avoid tax which mean more money for you

I think what is important as well is what people expect of bitcoin.
From all I read people want a coin that keeps their privacy (not necessary anonymous), that can be sent quickly with low fees, and that has an increase in its value on the long run.
If bitcoin is decentralized or not, most people do not care.
Everything else can be provided by bitcoin (just sometimes the fee & speed part is debatable).

well chep is not so true anymore, sending $10 and paying $1 is not what i call cheap, that is 10% of your transaction, paypal is only chargin 3.5%....

if you paid $1 as fee (specially on a $10 transaction) that means you are doing a lot of things wrong. I just double checked with my Electrum wallet. in order to pay $1= ~0.0088BTC you need to have 4-5 outputs to spend which means you have received $2 and $2.5 transactions and you need to think of another way of receiving so many small payments in your wallet.

and this calculation is done with the highest current fee. you may have included lower fee/byte which means you had much more outputs to spend!

p.s. the current cost of a normal transaction is still 40 US cents.

Here the best thing that I liked about the bitcoin feature is it's value in market is going flutuation speedly that gives us opportunities to make earning and buy/sell bitcoin for future profit .

Also was never the case - you could use it for these things but most major retailers are yet to accept it.  To be fair, it is true that the numbers were increasing more around 2013 (now Fiverr, for example, has stopped) so this is perhaps less true, but possible.

I don't know why are you asking such thing if you already know the answer, I mean you are a Full Member, and I know that obviously it is not the first time you heard about bitcoin and you earning bitcoins. Yep most of the features stated are true. It is still decentralized, still the most popular among all other coins. It is not controlled by the government so no is controlling them. And yes you can send money around the world for free for some wallets of course. In our country we don't have the cash machine to withdraw them but you can claim them at certain banks and money transfers affiliated with the wallet you have and my partner told me that his friend is buying a 2nd hand car from profiting bitcoins.

On closely analysis the statement i found few mistakes. First Bitcoin can be send in the whole world   ;and not just the half way of the world. and it dont take a blink of an eye for the receiver to receive.It may tale 20 to 30 mins to be confirmed. 
Second bitcoin cannot be withdraw directly from cash machine. Cash machine will convert the coins into fiat and give you the relevant local currency as bitcoins are virtual (not touchable).

A lot has been changed when it comes to bitcoin, throughout the time the use and the ideas that we had when the bitcoin started have been filliped, take for instance the idea of bitcoin becoming a currency that people use on internet payments, that is the idea that the developers had for bitcoin in the first place.

It's not right that bitcoin isn't controlled by anybody. Just one example: We pay bitcoin network fees to get transaction confirmed. Miners confirm transactions and get fee. If there would be no miners who confirm transaction, what we would do? So, we can't say that bitcoin isn't controlled by anyone.
We can't send bitcoins for free, we have to pay fees which have increased in recent years. Theorical, we can send bitcoins for free, but it will take ages to get transaction confirmations.

I agree with you, bitcoin didnt lose any of its features through years, the only really significant change is raise of transaction fees, which went up a lot: but bitcoin is not a tool for sending 1-2$ but more.

I think we might call bitcoin an anonymous currency, the reason of this is that we dont have any kind of colleration between the wallet address and the user identity.
You can track bitcoins, but if you stay cautious and do everything alright, nobody will get your sensitive data, such as name,surname, place of birth, address, etc.

It is the sending for free thing that is not true anymore.
They made a fee for that and it grew more since the event of heavy traffic from transaction that are made.
It is not bitcoin fault though. It is US the users.
Spam transactions which didn't stop made the miners work harder and maybe it gets to their nerve and wants more payment for the effort.
