Is this the kind of pool spoken of in the thread about front end plus whatever plus stratum plus litecoin, that tells of how only one block per minute gets counted by the once per minute cron-job?

Where someone then posted there is another script that tries to pick up on all the blocks the ones per minute cron job missed, thus maybe being able to raise payouts to as much as 99% of the blocks instead of just a max of one per minute?

No  this pool has had an issues from the start with lagging on the uncounted shares.. it always catches up.  My other pools don't have this issue.  Parameters in the cronjob had to be altered due the the rate of finding blocks were so fast in the early days of the pool.

I am just stopping by here to say that Markus is a terrific admin and I hope he will keep up this good work. Thank you for your prompt reply to my e-mail and for answering my questions about the BBQ pool.  I hope the pools you run will grow to be one of the biggest pools in the world and you will be in the top 500 Forbes richest people in the world.

There was an issue  with the payout for shares with some users.. I think I' may have been corrected where payouts should be correct from now On.  If there are continued issues.. I will calculate and manually payout and discrepancies.
'

Yeah i was supposed to get A LOT more bbq coin by my calculations... And I was right I got way more solo mining. I want this paid back. PM me

I'll message you and we'll will work it out.   This pool has been problematic from the start.  The pools I made after wards are working fine.  no coins are missing and there is some extra in the wallet that can be paid out in addition to what you have been paid.  The pool will keep paying you until it catches up, but I can probably help you manually.

Anyone know why the automatic payouts not working on this pool?

There's always some idiot who screws up the auto payout by putting in an invalid address.  I put a catch in the code so it wouldnt stop .. but I guess its still happening.  Manual payout till its fixed.  Also I added to everyone from now on 7%  10% more per payout for a while to make up for early pool errors.

Markus, I know you are a busy man and I know the BBQ pool is not so big but the people mining would be very happy with stratum support, do you have an ETA about when you might add that feature? I think that might reduce the 5% stales I have now.

thanks

Did you add stratum finally? I can't find any mention of it anywhere.

connection is still pretty unstable to the pool, it usually goes like :

mining, share(s) accepted, http error (no specific error), mining, http error, mining, http error...
